Again, rules changes from region to region. People from tamilnadu may not be doing exactly what people from Rajasthan may do. So, people (those who believe in this system) prefer to say no to same Gotra even if the family is from a different state.

Extended yes. This is especially true in regions like Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Kashmir, etc. Less so, in states like Maharashtra, MP, Bihar.

In Rajasthan, even today, you will find entire villages divided in zones between different castes. Brahmins paint their houses blue and Rajput Pink. These people are living together since ages. Just 200 years ago, a Hindu family can grow as large as 200 members, still living together.

Very much, if the the couple in question are of the same region/community/subcaste. In Hinduism, especially in early Vedic periods, it became evident that due to shortage of food, land, water and other factors, a large-scale migration will have to be made. The communities, which had very closely bonded relationships with each other and very carefully guarded "no outsider marriage" policy at that time, decided to devise a system to identify the families. So that it during marriage, it can be ascertained, which original place/region/community the person belonged, before. This resulted in the Kundali system. The kundali was nothing but a unique ID system of those times. The kundali, among other things, also mentions the origin of the particularperson. So, when a boy and a girl has same Gothra, it becomes clear that, they were once belonging to the same big family before the migration/migrations. Gotra refers to which "moola" or "root person" you are the offspring of.

Agreed. As I was looking at the picture, it doesn't seem realistic since weapons loading and testing is not done yet. SDB says it is a good 2-3 prototypes away possibly which means the next 2-3 prototypes we will see things like blanketing, redesigning engine intakes for a more serpentine shape (semi-serpentine), carve out weapons bays etc so that weapons testing can be done. Pogosyan said clearly that 5-6 prototypes more are minimum.

Raptor took 20 years to come up with the concept despite having designed stealth jets before by US. Russians actually have multiple stealth theories that they are experimenting and finding which is most optimum. They need PAKFA against F-22s and we need it against J-20s. So I am sure that even if its not equal to Raptor (we don't know how effective Raptor really is except Lockheed Martin's claims) it will be superior to what our enemy has and that's more than enough.

Wow.. thanks for the pic. BTW, I was wondering as to why they haven't added a "blanket" sort of cover on their underbelly like the J-20, JSF or F-22. This Su-30 Style engine placement doesn't give it the lethal bird look on the belly.

Royan, the other day you mentioned that Russians have added internal bays to PAKFA. Can you show me any links as to whether they've done it? Thanks.
