animals have long been used by intelligence agencies and armies to send information. most of the countries have had progrrammes where animals were used to deliever weapons and secret messages.

on topic, camels were long used for smuggling accross the border in thar desert. the camels were trained to go to particular location. it is also possible that camels are now being used to transport weapons accross border.

i havent seen the video but i guess it might be same case here.
