Sometimes one doesn't need proof when it is dancing naked in front of their eyes. It only takes the person asking a little time to search on for multiple evidences that are not shown in the "free, secular, open" media of this county. :coffee:

What evidence has been hidden by the media of country that shows that a execution of a condemned prisoner was expedited because of his religion?

If the govt. has some doubts, it can file a review petition. If SC has given a verdict, execution should be immediate. War against nation cases should be dealt with seperately than murders, rapes, etc. The actions of terrorists endanger the life of many and hesitation to take action on the part of the govt. sends out wrong signals. Our actions regarding "war against nation" should be resolute and uncompromising. If govt. has some reasons in not farwarding it to president, those should be made public in clear terms.

Afzal Guru's crime is not an ordinary crime, but is a crime of war against India.

The action against that Pragya female going at top speed while a proven terrorist who attacked the very seat of this country's democracy, fattening on taxpayer's money... and as if that wasn't enough, keeping a rude, shameless, insane terrorist who has been announced death sentence alive till date and feeding him on the money of the same people who he swore to brutally massacre...

A common person doesn't need more evidence than this to believe so unless he or she intends to blindly defend and bleed for these figures equally.

Yeah if a "common person" is presented with a false choice of "either you support my POV" or "your heart bleeds for terrorists", then majority of people will side with your POV.

That is a perhaps oldest used tactic in politics.

To imply that Afzal Guru's petition has not been sent to President to appease minorities is undermining the maturity and solid foundation of Indian democratic and judicial system.

After some years you will see this breaking news in every news channel.

"President of India was released Ajmal Ali Kasab and Afzal Guru on 26 january for their Good behavior."

And congress will be appreciated Dighvijay Singh for their Commendable work.

Supreme Court has confirmed the death sentence. SC does not give a hurried verdict. After this what scope is left for about determining the guilt? None. Yet the case has been hanging fire for so many years. And there is reason to believe that it will remain so for a long time. Decide this way or that.

But UPA is caught in a dilemma. Cannot spare Afzal Guru for political reasons. Cannot hand him for what reasons?

Going by your logic Presidential pardon should be a thing of past.

I don't want anyone pardoned, if SC decides they are guilty, they should be punished.
