With a single warhead, it's more likely to achieve that range easily.

The OP says While Agni-V weighs 50 tonnes and is 17.5 metres long, Agni-VI belongs to the 65-70-tonne class and will be 20 metres long. “Agni-VI will be a massive vehicle,” the technologists said. It was too early to say when its first launch would take place. It would be road-mobile and blast off from trucks with launching platforms.

P.K Sengupta has already said that BMs weighting 50+ tons can't be canisterd and launched from truck.

Most likely 65-70 ton figure is wrong and actual weight is around 45-48 tons.

with six nukes per missile, only 6-7 will be needed to wipe out over 80% of pakistan.

Why we need a 6000km range missile to strike Pak?

MIRV will be used on A-5 as well. Infact, A-6 cannot be MIRVed unless the tech is tested & implemented first on A-5.

K-4 SLBM will also be MIRVed.

We need to create a very high yield Nuclear warhead (something like the 'Tsar Bomba') for Agni VI to achieve true psychological deterrence.

Tsar Bomba weight is 27,000 kilograms ... my educated guess is there are no missile which can carry 27 tons ... u'll need a C-17 Globemaster III to drop such bomb ... which we already have

I was just wondering if it would be possible for us to miniaturize 'Tsar Bomba' (or a bomb almost as powerful) in such a way that the weight is reduced by a factor of at least 60%.

And you are right, there is no existing missile system that can deliver 27 tons of payload. You'll need a Saturn V or a PSLV for that:tongue1:

MIRVs are more effective than single Tsar type bomb if we could manage to pack 6 250Kn warheads in a single missile.
