    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibraltar_sovereignty_referendum,_2002

The Gibraltar sovereignty referendum of 2002 was a referendum which was called by the Government of Gibraltar and was held on 7 November 2002 within the British overseas territory on a proposal by the UK Government to share sovereignty of the territory between Spain and the United Kingdom. The result was a rejection of the proposal by a landslide majority, with only just over one per cent of the electorate in favour.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falkland_Islands_sovereignty_referendum,_2013

On a turnout of 91.94%, an overwhelming 99.8% voted to remain a British territory, with only three votes against.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proposed_Catalan_independence_referendum

A referendum on Catalan independence has been proposed by the Government of Catalonia, formed by the Catalan European Democratic Party (PDeCAT) and the Republican Left of Catalonia (ERC) as well as independents, with confidence and supply support from the Popular Unity Candidacy (CUP).

The ballot was initially scheduled for no later than 17 September 2017; a result of an election pledge made by pro-independence parties ahead of the 2015 Catalan election, which resulted in a parliamentary majority in terms of seats won for the Together for Yes coalition (JxSí) and the CUP—72 out of 135—but not in votes—47.8% of the share—. The newly elected parliament of Catalonia promptly resolved to hold a referendum on independence,[1][2][3][4] after a vote in 2014 had been reduced to a non-binding "citizen participation process". However, the Constitutional Court of Spain later annulled the resolution of the Parliament of Catalonia to hold such a vote.[5]

The Government of Spain opposes the referendum,[6][7] maintaining that the Spanish Constitution does not allow for a vote on the independence of any Spanish region while also deeming it as illegal without its consent;[8][9] an interpretation also favoured by the not binding Catalan Statutory Guarantees Council.[10] As of March 2017, the Government of Catalonia maintains that the vote will still be held, tendering for materials such as ballot papers and envelopes for a putative parliamentary election in the region. Some argue these preparations are actually an attempt to covertly organize the referendum.

Seems nobody wants to be ruled by Spain.

And please tell me where this £60bn Brexit Bill figure comes from. The current MFF lasts 2014-2020, assuming we were to pay that out, there is only 1 year after 2019, so that equates to £10bn, not £60bn.

Perhaps the Brexit Bill should be renamed 'Swindlers List'.

What are you talking about? French farming subsidies? Gibraltar will manage fine without the EU.

And you don't mention Lichtenstein, who does the same and worse.

If you want to talk about parasite activities, let's talk about all the money we give to the EU each year and never get back.

Ditto for the EU that takes over £100bn from Western European taxpayers every year. MEP allowances... the peak of parasitic behaviour.

So in response to the alleged Brexit Fee. Aside from the fact that it is not stated anywhere in the Treaty and nobody can figure out where it came from, and the UK isn't going to pay it under any circumstances there are some EU assets we may pursue both present and future to cover our payments made during the relationship, just as in any divorce (not my opinion, official response from House of Commons to an e-mail I sent).

Scottish. He appears to be encouraging the Belgian, who possibly represents Verhofstadt to remain on the boat while it burns. The dog is Tusk.
