And what of all the lies the other side told? We do give £350m/week to the EU, that's a fact. That they spend some of it on pro-EU propaganda at our universities is irrelevant.

But you have gained more advantage than the 350 million you sent them. Edcated people do profit and loss analysis.

Uber loses UK tribunal appeal over driver employment rights

Another blow for Uber's UK business: The company has lost its appeal against an employment tribunal ruling which last year judged that the two Uber drivers who brought the case should be classified as workers, rather than self-employed contractors -- meaning they are entitled to benefits such as holiday pay and the UK's National Minimum Wage.

Yes because you are holding on to it like a needy aunt who longingly clings to her nephews as her dentures fall out. EU has already made t clear...JUST LEAVE ALREADY!

No, it's because the EU is holding on to us, asking us for money, like a drug addict.

I'm not sure how this fits the anti-EU sentiment thread; but good news.

**** Uber and all these "disruptive" entrepreneurs who figure they are geniuses for figuring out it's cheaper to just not respect the laws.

Uber was tolerated before Brexit. It's about employers being brought into line, most of them 'remain' voters.

Like what? We don't want anything from them other than perhaps a mutually beneficial trade deal. It's the EU that wants freebies because it's gotten used to them over the last 42 years.

You want their money and aid to keep your society moving. And you want their trade to keep your economy and jobs on track. The money you claim to have given is a fraction of the trade duties you would have paid if you didn't have the deal.

What? They were getting money from us, not the other way round. We don't actually need their trade, that's more for their benefit without financial passporting.

Again, you fail to understand the facts. We'd collect more trade duties than we'd pay.

Why does the EU need our money for 2-way trade? Does any other trade deal involve one party giving the other money. Really that would count as trade distortion under WTO rules, since they're demanding that we subsidise their industries.
