Army hunts for new sniper rifle to replace Dragunov

    It's totally unrelated,but still want to ask.
    Why IA is not using miniguns or Gatling guns in LOC.AFAIK IA never purchased this type of guns so far.its having better kill probability than any other guns per same number of rounds fired. And proved its effectiveness in many conflicts around the world.

    If I am not wrong, Gatling guns are very difficult to reload.

    Instead of a shooter aiming and focusing on the target, why can't an interface be built to focus via a LCD screen fed to the 3-D controls of the mounting with an accuracy of 25mm over a 1km range? It is easy to develop.

    Most of the Gatlings are vehicle mounted,and it's not a pblm for loading at all. After all uncle same uses this in almost all recently conflicts.
