PATNA: Senior state BJP leaders, at a meeting of its office-bearers at the party headquarters here on Thursday, unanimously gave their nod to withdraw support to the JD(U), saying, "enough is enough."

Party's state president Mangal Pandey said the party didn't want to pull the rug from under the JD(U)'s feet immediately unless "bola nahin jayega". "In fact, people of Bihar have given mandate to the NDA not to the JD(U). But the mandate is being crushed. Till June 9, state JD(U) president Vashishta Naraian Singh was of the view that the NDA was intact in Bihar and appointment of Narendra Modi as BJP's central campaign committee chairman was the BJP's internal matter. Now, JD(U) party leaders are questioning the existence of the BJP in the NDA government," he said.

The meeting, which lasted for three hours and was attended by party's national vice-president Dr C P Thakur, deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, five ministers, MLAs and Pandey, discussed the problems in the coalition government. The lead was taken by NDA convenor in Bihar Nandkishore Yadav, who is also road construction minister in the Nitish Kumar cabinet.

Pandey regretted that some senior JD(U) leaders had been making statements seeking ouster of the BJP from the NDA government in Bihar even as the central leaders of the BJP were engaged in negotiations with JD(U) president Sharad Yadav and Nitish Kumar. He said the party, after declaring Modi as chairman of the BJP's national election campaign committee, would "contest the elections under his leadership".

Pandey said there was no decision from the JD(U) communicated to us so far. "Our national leaders are trying to keep the ties intact but the statement of JD(U) leaders in Bihar is creating trouble," he said. When asked about the ultimatum given by the JD(U) to name BJP's prime ministerial candidate, Pandey said, "We are not aware of it. If the central leaders have got any ultimatum, they will decide."

Senior minister in the Nitish Kumar government Chandra Mohan Rai also launched an attack on the JD(U) and pleaded the BJP should withdraw support to the government. Sushil Kumar Modi suggested the party should follow a wait-and-watch policy. But the strongest plea for withdrawal came from the NDA convenor who regretted the JD(U) leaders were constantly humiliating the BJP and abusing Narendra Modi. "Enough is enough and we must come out of the suffocating atmosphere," he said.

Pandey asked party leaders to wait for the official stand of the JD(U) president or the chief minister. Almost all the leaders who spoke in the meeting suggested the party should come out of the government and start preparing for elections.

This is good decision By BJP Bihar unit. Further, Nitish is trying to take Independent MLA On board with attractive offer like appointing them as minister in Bihar government. However one of Such MLA named Dileep Verma has said, he is supporting Narendra modi so he will go with BJP only.

Right now Six independent MLA are holding too much importance. As out of six independent MLA, 2 decided to support JD (u), 3 has not decided anything and 1 decided to support BJP.

The reason is simple, JDU has not been able to rope in the independents and they can't take support of anyother party. They will announce their decision based on support of independents.

Actually, both leaders from Jd (U) are speaking differently on same subject. Sharad yadav is still not saying anything and BJP leadership is in touch with Yadav. Just in after noon , Nitin gadkari and Naqvi has a meet with him. And Sharad yadav say, till alliance is intact. On the other hand, Nitish say alliance is dead.

Same case is with BJP:BJP Bihar say there will be a split for sure. But national leadership is not saying the same.
