China's container trade volume up 3% in 2016 | IHS JOC

    For the full year of 2016, China's container trade volume grew by 3%. This is less than the 3.7% growth in China's container trade volume for 2015. However, the point is that China's trade is still growing at a steady pace.

    It is important to remember that China's technology is constantly improving. For example, the smartphones in those trade containers have superior specifications and faster computer chips. China's CNC machine tools also improve yearly. Another area of advancement is Chinese industrial robotic production and sophistication.

    In conclusion, China's trade volume is growing annually and the technology in those trade containers is more advanced.
