China: Long Road To Be Next Global Superpower

China lacks the political, economic and civil freedoms to become a world leader.

In the last decade, the notion of China becoming the world’s next superpower has become almost an idee fixe for many. Compared to the other so-called BRICS – Brazil, Russia and India – China shines like the moon. Since Deng Xiaoping created the Four Modernizations in 1978, China has surged from being a marginal player on the global stage to a powerhouse that has attracted $2 trillion of foreign direct investment.

Its economy ranks first in the world in building modern infrastructure, global exports ($2.2 trillion), Internet usage (600 million people), college graduates (7 million per year), rate of economic growth (10 percent from 1980 to 2010), movement of peasants to the city (400 million from 1980 to 2013), high-speed rail under construction (40,000 miles) and major airports (43). By 2025, it will likely have the world’s largest gross national product.

The most important of these reforms are the two evils of the society have been discarded, Religion and Politics in the public space. These two evils have plagued the rest of the world. Most problems that have hindered progress through out the world can be narrowed down to these two factors. China today has the US where it wants. Except the F-16s and the common Sewer Cover everything that is used ion the US is from China...
So it is a definite possibility and the people have worked for it and are still doing with perseverance.... let the rest of the world squander away the time in all other matters, that could be irrelevant...

We can claim many things, till such time discipline and the will to excel by the common man persists in china they will reach the place they want to attain, even if they need a iron hand to tackle difference of opinion in any manner. The basic attitude of the people " Selfless Fighters"

If they were a democratic country like India/USA ..... of course the rest of the world has to fear/accept that they will be became as a superpower...

Unless they can be much lesser than the USSR for some years in future... of course not decades...........
