After accusing the Indian government of human rights abuses, the immigration officials later retracted the statement.

Vancouver: Canada immigration authorities on May 18 denied entry to a retired senior Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officer in Vancouver because the force he worked with had “committed widespread human rights abuses”.

Tejinder Singh Dhillon, who arrived at the Vancouver airport last week, was denied entry under a subsection of Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, according to a report in Hindustan Times.

Dhillon, who was the inspector general of police from CRPF, retired in 2010.

According to the report, the immigration officials had initially told Dhillon that he cannot be allowed to enter Canada because the government he worked for “engages or has engaged in terrorism, systematic or gross human rights violations, or genocide”.

However, the immigration authorities issued another document, in which they retracted the statement against the Indian government. They then accused the CRPF of “committing widespread and systemic human rights abuses, for example torture, arbitrary detention, murder and sexual assault” while still denying entry to him.

This has happened to Dhillon for the first time in the past 30 years, who has now returned to Ludhiana. He had frequently travelled to Canada even when he was serving as an officer in CRPF, he said according to the report.

He has a Canadian visa issued by India and is valid till 2024.

Let's not forget that this is the same country which supported Khalistanis once upon a time, till they themselves faced the wrath of Khalistanis.

This what happens when you have Khalistanis as your Cabinet ministers and Pakistanis as your vote bank.
I hope GOI takes this issue up,as Canada is accusing India of Human rights violation,India should stop issuing Visas to Canadians and give them the same medicine, accuse Canada of Human Rights violations, trying to spread Diabolical LGBT culture in India.
Justin Trudeau will collapse soon,he made a mess of his country just like Labor of UK did with pandering to Islamic vote bank.Trudeau has put in place Blasphemy laws, where you can be put in jail for offending Islam or saying anything which might be deemed as Islamophobia.

What the hell is GOI doing.
We need to pull our strings in Canada. The pro India Sikh groups needs to rise against the hypocrisy of Khalistanis in Canada.

    Khalistani influence .
If they have this much itching on their back ,next time when a member in Canadian Armed Forces visits India we should reject him because his forces committed grave human rights in Afghanistan and Iraq.
GoI should give thema stern warning
