Few things to notes on the video to go along as I watch it.

    >Having toured Cummins facility in St Paul, MN for commissioning 2 MW of backup power fr my firm, generators are extensively used around the world for back up power, including every mission critical data centers, Hotels, casinos, manufacturing industry producing non 460 volt 3 phase equipment for testing especially utilizing variable frequency drives. And NO BACK home we don't use generators just when a tree falls on the power line. Another aspect is Modern day tier IV generators are actually more efficient than natural gas power plants which are extensively used across US.

Was hoping for a more in depth interview than that (what, 5 mins?) and a tour around 7 LKM would have been awesome :D

As I write I finished the video, I am happy that PM's initiative to drive towards clean energy is being appreciated by the west. Having discussed Climate change for the last couple of months with friends and colleagues, I do feel we are at an inflection point. I really hope the PM Modi can reach out to Musk to see if we can be the pioneers in government funding tesla gigafactory in India. There needs to be a Tesla India soon, and actively promoted by the PM himself in India.

Well if there is a PM to have right here right now to meet the challenge it is Modi, this guy isn't messing around.

+ of particular note throughout the show is how open minded and foreward thinking Indians are; eager to take any tech they can get and "leap frog" whilst there is a natural resistence elsewhere in the world

I have to say it was refreashing to hear Modi saying he would be the first person to switch 100% to renewables- this is no bought guy. Big oil has no power over him. I guess I am too used to the lobbies in the West/US that seem to stall everything.
