Effect of Trump and Putin Bonhomie

I would like to have a view of others regarding effect of perceived Putin and Trump bromance!! Now China and Russia have teamed (enemy's enemy) up against US. If they (Putin and Trump) goes along well, will China be sidelined? Of course CIA, and other US liberals including some republicans would try their best to scuttle it and may even succeed.

There could be improved relations betweem the two as Trump will be the most business friendly President the US ever had.... In my view they need to come out of this stupid rivalry of the Cold war for their own good. Russia is no longer a superpower.

If Trump and Putin do come together it will be interesting to see who will Russia support in one of those China vs US conflict which are bound to increase in the coming days. China is not only carrying the legacy of communism but they are taking it to new heights. The democrats will hate it even though they claims to be a center-left party but they can't do jack as they are controlling....well they are controlling nothing in the US right now. The white house, capitol and the supreme court everything belongs to the Republicans right now.

For India it will be a win-win scenario as it always was since the collapse of the USSR and the improvement of Indo-US relations.

 

nothing is going to change ... there is no friendship between countries ... there r only interests ... the bromance does not work when countries policy comes in between .... dont go on political show baazi .... we see that everyday in Indian politics ... before election political leader abuse each other .... after election they become friend n run a collation gov

 

I don't think there will be much change from Russia....Towards China or Vice Versa... But Russian and American relations might as well change quiet significantly....


Regarding China...

China at this stage is too grown up for foreign support.... Their people see their defiance as a 'characteristic trait' of the major power they aspire to be....


In fact the more PRC opposes the current world order.... Like the US... The EU... The ICJ... The more their people become happy.... Because they don't see it as a disregard for rules.. But... 'Rightful and Moral Defiance of 'Western supremacism' '....

It doesn't matter to them if the Russians or the Americans support them...


If the Americans want to maintain their sole superpower dominance... They will need balls of steel... Because going against a Country which is as determined and as capable as China takes Courage... Also... Their Media is state controlled so America's favorite weapon of 'Propaganda'... Simply won't work...

They will need raw military, financial and social strength...

The Chinese people seem united and determined... They will do what their government say...(Thanks to years of brainwashing and propaganda...) Go to America... Half of them seem to spit on their own Government.... Will they support the Funding that will go into a potential military build up...!?


(PS : US might think of Making peace with Russia and come out with a proper power sharing agreement... So that they can focus more on China...)



TL;DR :-

IMHO this new found 'bromance' between Trump and Putin will have minimal to no effect on the PRC...
In case of a conflict... The Russians will most likely remain neutral...
If someone thinks Russia will go against the PRC... He/She is living in a Fantasy world..

 

There is a joke that
Fidel Castro said he die only when America gets destroyed...
And he died when Trump got elected.

 

Either Trump would have to turn hostile to Russia, or credibility of USA among its allies would hit rock bottom. Trump could yield Syria and Crimiea to Russia, but yielding Ukraine proper would tank reputation of USA among its allies.

 

China and Russia belong to SCO.

The US is the leader of NATO. Trump can't change geopolitical facts. The purpose of NATO is to contain Russia. The Russians have figured that out (despite what Trump may say).

Unless Trump pulls the US out of NATO, nothing significant will change. The interests of the US/NATO and Russia will always be zero sum.
