Where did it 'whack' the F-4 then? Seems to me it didn't even score above parity overall in Vietnam, which would include combat against lesser US planes as well as F-4s.

    Ha!

Indian Air Force Thread 20 - Page 80

To be fair, what the IAF actually said was -

    1. Group Captain Ashu Srivastav, the Contingent Commander in the exercises, told NDTV that the performance of his pilots was "exceptional." According to Group Captain Srivastav, who happens to be the IAF's most experienced Su-30 pilot, his pilots showed "flexibility and adaptability to a new environment and operating conditions and on this benchmark, I would rate them exceptional."

    2. Group Captain Srivastav told NDTV his pilots performed "fairly well" though "quantifying [the results] is difficult".

No IAF officer has been quoted making a 12-0 claim in there.

NDTV are trash journalists, much like Bill Sweetman and his famous Aurora spy plane.

The point you're missing is that nobody in the IAF is actually quoted as saying that. Don't you find that a bit strange if they're the source? Where are the quotation marks.

Indian Air Force Sukhois Dominate UK Fighter Jets in Combat Exercises

Now if they won 12-0, surely that wouldn't be difficult to quantify? Especially when it already is quantified huh?

Read the bits between the quotation marks, that's what the Indian pilots actually said, not the bullshit outside them. If it wasn't bullshit then it would be inside quotation marks.

Instead of all the silly remarks about 'who did what to who', can we listen to the proffessionals who actually took part in this exercise. Of course national pride still has it's say but it is probably the most unbiased post you will ever get to see. The actuall facts of the outcome will only ever be known to the participants, they are not going to give away to many secrets even as allies :-

what indeed is need to be seen is that this time RAF personel didnt posted anything like the prevoius 2011 article yet
perhaps this time it might be indeed true IAF 's Su30mki in dog fight were little better in BFM even foreign journous in AIN
    online com stated that before

12/0 how authentic that claim is i cant gurantee but surely this time Su30mki was better plane compare to 2011 exercise

i cant understand why the SU30mki used their radars in this exercise this was supposed to be banned due to classification of
    it's radar frequencies

12-0 is simply impossible given that some of it included 2 Typhoons vs 1 Su-30. It's just pure fantasy.

It could be that they are getting a new and far more powerful radar to replace this grandpa's days PESA?

Indian Air Force 'beats RAF 12-0 in training exercise' – using Russian-designed jets - Home News - UK - The Independent

It doesn't speak very highly of the Indian AF when the RAF have to go on record and say this:
