    Care to elaborate on that?

    Cuz it sounds like you're suggesting that Pakistani=terrorist, and I really have trouble believing someone would suggest anything so idiotic.

    Think Tank is for Indian professionals... as in members of the Indian armed forces etc...
    Think Tank members cannot have any other nationality, other experts from nations other then India make up the Professionals team. So in a sense professionals team is the enemies Think tank.

    Just so you know mate.... professionals from your own nation and other nations are a need for any defense forum.

    Huh? Not sure what I just read:

    Okay, so only Indians can be on Indian Think Tank - that's what I said.

    Huh? Now you're claiming that having one's own people on a Think Tank makes them the enemy? Thus conversely, having the enemy's people on a Think Tank makes them friendly? I think there's another word for that -- "sekoolarism" -- that has nothing to do with Think Tank.

    I think what's need are people who can think outside of the box - and I'm good at doing that.

    no, you've misunderstood me.... there are professionals on this forum... the Indian professionals are part of the forum's Think Tank, any non-Indian professionals are are part of the forum's professionals team.

    To be part of the forum's Think Tank, you need to have some sort of history in the armed forces, good knowledge of certain topics and of course what ever else is expected of members.

    Wouldn't that depend on what the think tank is being used for? I think a think tank on foreign policy should have people who've demonstrated foreign policy knowledge, a think tank on technology should have people who have credentials in technology, etc.
    Think tanks can be on all kinds of subjects, and therefore the members should have the required expertise in the subject at hand.

    I'm not disputing that, only thing is you NEED to have a professional status to be granted a member of the Think Tank

    Again, I am stating my willingness to participate in the Think Tank, if whoever is organizing it is agreeable to it.

    Good knowledge of certain topic(s), some sort of history in the armed forces or some sort of professionals status, a good contribution to the forum, un biased and professional reviews and all the obvious needed to become a good member.

    You should ask admins though, it would be best.

    @admins...

    do you have researchers here as they have on other forums?
    aside from Think Tank and Professionals.
