Read ALL the report. Rafale win with a huge margin. And it was in 2012 if I remember well. Rafale evolved since. AND IT WAS WITHOUT AESA RADAR !!!!

So was the Typhoon (it had a MSA in fact) and the Gripen C. It met specific requirements of the Swiss, and the Typhoon never even had A2G weapons at that point.

No one a little serious claimed the PESA RBE2 has better range than Captor. But AESA has.
    ECCM? I don't know.

Fact is that RAF didn't want to train against Rafale, because they were smashed in short and in long range exercice. Even with a reduced range simulated missile.

How about the 2 or 3 French reports firmly stating that the Rafale has no SEAD capability?

There is only one interpretation. The Rafale has no SEAD capability.

(Except on "The Unofficial Rafale Blog".)

    http://indianexpress.com/article/in...alth-fighter-rafale-indian-air-force-3737350/
On a visit to the Ambala air base, Air Marshal Deo said that the Indian government is also seized of the importance of acquiring fighter aircraft with stealth features and this is why the Rafale aircraft being acquired from France has some special stealth features. “The radial cross section of the aircraft is significantly smaller for an aircraft of that size. There are many other features too which I would not like to disclose at this stage,” he said.

    This is plenty enough.

What don't you get about unofficial? For instance, at a cursory glance, how come the annotation on the above is in English?

How many more statements about no SEAD ability would you like? The only way Rafale can destroy SAMs (short range) is by picking up something, looking around with the targeting point and firing something, it has no spontaneous SEAD capability.

Meanwhile, until F4, it seems geolocation is just a dream/lie too.

So much for this phase interferometric geolocation you promised these poor saps.
