    Still i know these are phototypes and hopefully final production variants will be better fitted with better ergonomics

    I for one don't really know much of tactical radios and communication gear. Maybe @Abingdonboy or @Hellfire can say something?

    IMO it all depends on the quality of your mic. Hardly makes a difference over the type.

    Pictures of Indo-Sri Lankan Joint Military Exercise Mitra Shakti 2017 in Pune.

    Note - These Advance Combat Helmets which are not the new ones from 1.58 lakh ordered for Army. These are procured 3-4 years ago by MARATHA LI , Mahar Regmt and Mechanised Infantry Battalions in Pune & Ahmednagar. These Helmets are made by MKU.

    @Abingdonboy - As we thought.

    When you compare this to ;

    To this,that is day and night,literally. @Abingdonboy

    MKU is a renowed company which supplies many armies and police forces around the world (which proves the quality of its equipments) and that is made in India. Now imagine the economies of scale with mass orders from Indian armed forces and internal security forces. Clearly those charged of the procurement have no brains at all.

    MKU's and Tata's offers of BPJs failed in Indian Army trials. DRDO's vest is expected to fulfill requirements.
