Nopes. You are not looking at the full picture. The problem with some of this stuff is that the 'legacy' component has a lot of influence on society and I for one am not very comfortable with anyone and everyone becoming ;'canonized' and be considered a leading light of my relegion just like that.

    LET ME ASK YOU SOMETHING:
WHile you have ranted about how 'hindus haven't organized' so much in the past, have you looked at this phenomenon critically? WHy don't you look at the christians and see if they'll ever allow some such random thing happen? Hell their canonization takes DECADES, sometimes longer and the 'three miracles' is not pulling vibhuti and lemons out of air. That's how relegions becoming strong- by enforcing a meritocracy of sainthood and representatives. It is likely that they ahve never really performed 'miracles' but very liekly that they achieved papal approbation after displaying a VERY VERY substantive commitment and sacrifices to their relegions. You, who rant so much about 'organization' on little things like Haj, never ask questions on why we aren't organizing substatively to create more relegious merit and reform. Instead you will blindly keep focussing on little stuff 'secular media', 'Haj travel', 'Hindu Victimization' and stuff. You need to have a stronger sense of standards if you wnt the relegion to really move ahead.

Read Carefully before ranting. And yes, the fact that not anyone is allowed to become a spokesperson for their faityh and that there is a lot of evaluation before delcaring so does make their system superior. YOu can let every baba become canonized so that our relefgion quickly begins to look like a joke.
