We brought crude worth 64 billion US dollar in 2016, and 120 billion in 2015. We should buy some of our oil from Guyana, this will be a win win. Unlike buying from the middle east were money just goes out, here our money will go to our Indian brothers and sisters. Total population of Guyana is only 8 lakh with some 3.5 lakh Indian community. The freight charge will be marginally higher but this will be a investment. This is better than the high price being charged by OPEC.

We should make our state owned OIL companies like ONGC invest there,

Last president was Donald Ramotar- 2011 election was Indian origin. New party APNU won Indians lost control to Africans this resulted in current cabinet. APNU won by a thin margin of 1%. But 8 lakhs population is a small number which will be altered with a little bit of immigration, If there is a government headed by India ethinics, we can maximize the benefits. But Guyana has very less ethinic Indians in its army, this is a problem, there is a chance of a coup. There was a similar coup in Fiji, which toppled elected government of Indian ethinics.
    2006 Fijian coup d'état

Also, Both Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago have high Indian population and oil reserves.
Current president of Guyana is supporter of Washington, I think he was installed by US support. The 2011 Left government headed by Indian origin people lost in 2015 by 1% in early elections.

Moses Nagamutoo is an ethnic Tamil. Anyway most of the Indian community are cut off from us and do not share close relations with Indian relatives. Just like the Chinese in Malaysia/Singapore etc. And most of them are not even Hindus to begin with to have some sort of emotional attachment. They are completely westernised and let them be

Ask Indian youth to join Fiji army and police in large numbers, 2006 Fiji coup was happened because there were only 10% Indians in Fiji army. Indians in Fiji don't know how things work, Indians in Fiji are close to 50% in population and had to lose farm property. Contact some Indian army officers and give training to Indians in Fiji. Situation in Guyana, suriname and Trinidad can still be saved, Guyana is going to get very rich and developed soon, if Indians don't get into government 43% Indians will not get their due share.

Guyana has presidential form of government, PM is a rubber stamp in Guyana democracy, President is not Indian. Guyana has 23% Hindus, the choice is between African and Indians, which Christian or muslim Indian would chose African over Indian. Indian candidate in 2015 elections in Guyana got 49% votes. The Ameri-Indian natives look similar to Indians.

Relations can be built. PM Nagamootoo to receive “Crown Jewel of World Tamils” , participate in several Tamil activities during India trip

Most of Brasil is still not populated, Amazon river has more water and farming potential than all rivers of India combined. White people can't populate in such a hot climate, but Indians can.

Indians comprised 50% of the population in Fiji nearly 3 decades ago .It's down to something like between 35-40% now and further decreasing .

Most of them have made their way to Australia NZ and the US.

This is one fatal flaw identified in all those ex colonial states where Indians as a racial group tend to be the leading group or a prominent minority in a multi racial society where they have been observed not to secure their gains in the academic field or in economic activities by restricting themselves to these silos and shunning the armed forces. With the result that when resentment of the other racial groups brim over , the Indians are at the receiving end and emulate what their forefathers did during the Islamic invasions in India - pack up and run .

Neither is the Indian government in any position to launch expeditionary missions to ameliorate their situation nor is our counter espionage unit geared up to counter such a scenario. Fiji is a classic case in point

I recall when after the first coup in Fiji where RAW tried to smuggle arms and get the local Indians to launch an armed struggle in a ham handed operation , the boats carrying these arms were intercepted and the consignment impounded by the Australian navy who didn't want any unauthorized / unacknowledged Indian intervention in their sphere of influence .

Were such an incident to recur in Guyana or Surinam or in any of these states where Indians exist in sizeable nos , we'd see a repitition of history .

UK, Australia, US, are behind all these, they still have a presence in these islands. I bet the 2015 elections in Guyana was work of these gang of colonists to prepare political ground for extraction of Oil from Guyana. Best way to counter this is to bring the Africans and Native people to our side.

Instead of doing something at the last moment like sending weapons to Fiji. Infiltrate RAW into theses colonies per-emptively, contact the Indian community leaders and induce them to send youth in Armed forces. Anything like LTTE or Tamil tigers will only backfire, they would malign Hinduism and Indians. Bribe the officials to recruit more Indians in the name of defence cooperation.

I'm sure that RAW is doing things on similar lines.
Here is a Institute of Defence studies publication on this subject.
Ethnicity and Security Forces in Guyana and Trinidad & Tobago
The year 2015 was an eventful one in the politics of both Guyana and Trinidad & Tobago where incumbent governments were defeated in elections held in May and September 2015, respectively. In both instances, governments led by people of Indian descent – Donald Ramotar in Guyana and Kamla Persad-Bissessar in Trinidad – were defeated by parties or alliances led by people of African descent, David Granger in Guyana and Keith Rowley in Trinidad. The transition of power was peaceful and no aspersions can be cast upon the electoral process in either country. However, it is interesting that despite people of Indian descent forming the largest ethnic group in both Guyana (43.5 per cent of the population) and Trinidad (35.4 per cent of the population), parties dominated or led by Indians were unable to retain power, suggesting that factors other than or in addition to ethnicity determined the electoral outcome.
