It was exaggerated BJP media propaganda reporting on Shivsena. Actually it was just marathi regionalism. It was not shivsena vs Others. If shivsena is elected in other region, shiv sena will be pro-that region. It was trained shivsena cadre which brought down disputed structure in Ayodhya. BJP is just doing political drama.

There are similar charges on BJP on being Trader or Brahmin party. Pro-corporate and anti- common Hindu party. BJP is seen as anti Jat hindu, anti Yadav hindu, anti OBC hindu, anti - Da-lit hindu party. BJP has no monopoly on Hindutwa.

Let me make this clear, if BJP takes votes on Hindutwa and fails to deliver on Hindutwa. BJP took votes on ram mandir and illegal migrants. If there is no solution on illegal migrants. Hindu voters will shift to shiv sena since only shiv sena can deal with illegal migrants.

That is an absolutely false comparison and it isn't even close. BJP isn't going around thrashing, threatening and intimidating members of all those different groups. Shiv Sena is less of a political party, and more of a collection of Marathi gundas who don't care a damn for anyone who isn't a Hindu Marathi.

And by all means, you're welcome to try and move to Shiv Sena if you want, India is a democracy; but nothing is gonna come of it. Shiv Sena was, is and will be irrelevant on the national stage. And if recent trends are anything to go by, even people in Maharashtra are sick of SS's regionalistic bullshit and plain gundagardi.

And how do you even reach the conclusion that BJP isn't doing anything on the Mandir or on migrants...? They were waiting for an SC decision when it came to the mandir, and in 2019 they'll have absolute majority in both houses so they'll literally be able to do almost anything they want. And on migrants the Government has literally issued notices to start counting and rounding up Rohingyas with the obvious aim of kicking them out.

    India firm on deporting Rohingya
Published September 5, 2017 SOURCE: THE HINDU

A day after the Centre on Monday refused to give 40,000 Rohingya Muslim immigrants an assurance that it will not move for their deportation back to Myanmar, MoS for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju said State governments have been asked to make a task force to identify them. He was speaking on the sidelines of a North East Democratic Alliance meet in NEw Delhi on Tuesday. Responding to criticim made by human rights activists on government’s proposed deportation plans, Mr. Rijiju said India has absorbed the maximum number of refugees and “nobody should tell us how to deal with refugees. During the monsoon session of Parliament, the government said it had directed State authorities to identify and deport illegal immigrants, including Rohingya, who face persecution in Buddhist-majority Myanmar.

Why UN can't force India on Rohingya issue: 10 Facts

    1. India is not a signatory to the 1951 UN Refugee Convention, which clarify the rights of refugees and help protect them. 148 countries have signed it.

    2. India has also not ratified the UN Convention against Torture despite being a signatory to the convention in October 1997.

    3. Article 3 of the Convention states that "no party shall expel, return or extradite a person to another state where there are substantial grounds for believing that he would be in danger of being subjected to torture".

    4. India is yet to make a law on the same to ratify the convention.

    5. Whether the Rohingyas are registered under UNHRC or not, they are illegal immigrants in India: MoS Ministry of Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju.

    6. Nearly 40,000 Rohingya Muslims are staying illegally in India while another 14,000 have been registered with the UNHCR.

    7. Majority of these illegal Rohingya immigrants have settled in Jammu, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Hyderabad, Delhi-NCR and Rajasthan.

    8. The Centre said illegal immigrants like Rohingyas pose grave security challenges as they could be recruited by terror groups.

    9. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had expressed concern over the violence in Myanmar's Rakhine state and called for "restraint".

    10. Over 3 lakh Rohingyas have entered Bangladesh since the violence broke out in Myanmar on August 25, according to the UN office.

Myanmar would refuse to take them

Al-Qaeda operative alleged to have come to India to train Rohingyas arrested in Delhi
    [IMG]
An Bangladeshi-British al-Qaeda operative who allegedly came to India to train Rohingya Muslims, was arrested last evening in Shakarpur, Delhi Police's Special Cell said today.

A proficient hacker who received arms training, Subhan Haq has already radicalised several Rohingyas in Bangladesh during his four-year stint with the terrorist group.

Police said they recovered a pistol, four cartridges, a laptop, and foreign banknotes from the operative, who they said carried a Kishanganj (Bihar) voter ID.

Subhan Haq's real name is Shami Ur Rahman. He received a formal education until Class 12, travelled to South Africa and Syria, and then joined al-Qaeda, police said.

Earlier today, the Narendra Modi government told the Supreme Court that many Rohingya refugees have links with terror organisations and Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Refugees from the community present a major security threat, the Centre said in a 16-page affidavit.

The government said it feared the possibility of an eruption of violence against Buddhists living in India.

Tens of thousands of Rohingya Muslims have left Buddhist-majority Myanmar since August 25, fleeing a military response to deadly attacks by Rohingya insurgents on police posts and an army camp.

While Myanmar says its forces are carrying out clearance operations against the insurgents of the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army, Rohingyas and rights monitors blame the exodus on what they say is a campaign aimed at driving out the Muslim population.

Rohingyas claim they're natives of the Burmese province of Rakhine, but Myanmar does not consider them as citizens.

AL-QAEDA'S THREAT TO INDIA'S HINDUS, SECURITY AGENCIES

The terrorist group said in June that it would target Indian Hindu "separatist" organisations involved in the destruction of mosques and Muslims' property and the killing or forced conversion of Muslims.

It also pledged to target the "leadership" of India's military, police and "secret agencies," and specifically, "those officers of the Indian military who have the blood of our Kashmiri brothers on their hands."

Al-Qaeda said the Indian state was its "top priority, after American and Israeli targets," but added that it's objective wasn't to attack "common" Hindus, Buddhists or people of other faiths.

It recently appointed former Hizbul Mujahideen commander Zakir Musa as its Kashmir chief.

Counter terrorism experts recently told American legislators that al-Qaeda was becoming more active in the Indian subcontinent - specifically, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

The recent stone pelting in the Noida ncr region, where a maid, supposedly an immigrant had been accused of stealing is a small example of how these people are loyal to no one. The sooner they are deported the better.

Kolkata Muslim cleric threatens bloodshed if Rohingya Muslims are deported from India

In a much-awaited affidavit in SC, the MHA made its stand clear saying the fundamental right to settle in any part of the country was available only to citizens and not the Rohingyas.
Reported by: India TV News Desk, Kolkata [Updated:19 Sep 2017, 11:39 PM IST]
The Centre’s submission to the Supreme Court terming the Rohingya refugees as ‘illegal’ immigrants has evoked sharp criticism from several opposition leaders and clerics who have accused the government of violating the fundamental rights of refugees for which they are entitled for. Spewing venom against the government, a Kolkata-based clerics has threatened bloodshed if the government initiates the process of deporting Rohingyas.

Addressing a huge gathering here on September 18, cleric Maulana Shabbir Ali Azad Warsi demanded for the settlement of Rohingyas in the country. He said that Muslims are in minority, but it doesn’t mean ‘we are weak’. He even said that the government don't know the history of the Muslims. “We are Hussaini Muslims. even if we are 72, we can kill lakhs.”

Issuing an ultimatum to the government in national capital, he said that Rohingyas are “our brothers” and that “we all Muslims (everywhere in the world) are brothers”.

He further threatened government not to try to evacuate the Rohingyas from West Bengal. “This is Bengal, not Assam, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Muzaffarnagar or Muzaffarpur,” the cleric said this while addressing a huge gathering of Muslims in Kolkata following Centre telling the Supreme Court of intelligence on links between some Rohingya Muslims, Pakistan's ISI and the Islamic State.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has also taken a different stand on the matter, saying that the government should ensure that commoners did not suffer. "I think all commoners are not terrorists. There are bad people and good people in every community. There is a difference between commoners and terrorists. Commoners must not suffer because if they do then humanity will suffer. I think that in accordance with the UN verdict we should not compromise our humanity with anything else," Banerjee had told reporters.

In a much-awaited affidavit in the apex court, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday made its stand clear saying the fundamental right to settle in any part of the country was available only to citizens and not the Rohingyas. It categorically stated that the apex court should not invoke its jurisdiction, as the issue of Rohingyas "fell under the exclusive domain of policy decision of the executive". The MHA noted that the citizens' rights like right to life and employment get adversely affected due to the burden on resources posed by the Rohingyas, whose numbers have now swelled to over 40,000.
