Ever since the demonetization policy was announced both political class and mainstream news media at large have been in a state of shock.

Plan A: Instigate People - Utter failure

RG goes and stands in ATM to highlight the pains of common people. People took some selfies but did not lend any support to this plan.

Plan B: Wait for more time and report frustrations - Grand failure

News anchors have been working overtime going from ATM to ATM and conducting interviews. Unfortunately, To make matters worse common people on the streets have shown immense sense of understanding and responsibility on why this policy decision was taken and great patience in going through the additional trouble to support the government decision. Person after person have shown strong commitment and support towards this policy.

Plan C: Get Peoples Sympathy - Super failure

News anchors conducting programs highlighting that people are dying due to lack of cash. How low can one go? Did these people cared when 1000 of farmers had been dying consuming pesticides for more than a decade?

Plan D: Malign the policy - ongoing

This is the current plan to malign the policy. Common people's opinion could be swayed by demonstrating that the big fish are being let off

    1) NDTV is running fake interviews with anonymous brokers who claim that Bank Managers are exchanging bags of old currency for new in case of rich, powerful and famous while common people are being taken for a ride.

    2) Simultaneously unleash the Meera Sanyals and MMSs of the world to issue dire warning for the future of the economy

    3) Declare bandhs and turn them into riots and brutal police actions

Time is short and Plan D seems to be the last hope.

    LOL

    A good one.

It is pretty interesting to note that the only ones who are protesting are the ones who have maximally got affected too. Now, with the real estate also being touched upon shortly, things should look up.

    Sire,
"Horrible racist" is an oxymoron. :p

I have always felt that Sonia Gandhi is a humble human being and that she and her children are mere scape goats for Congress.

Yup. That is why Priyanka just might make an appearance for UP. Although, personally speaking, Rahul Gandhi is the best thing that has happened to India - he has managed to ensure that Congress as any potent force, is over.

Just could not resist the musings part!!

Its about the Congress ecosystem installed and entrenched in Delhi. and That same system exists today. Sonia Gandhi has accelerated what Indira Gandhi started. Account of seventeen odd years, from 1974 to 1991. Sonia is the Manifestation of the continuing Gandhi Dynasty. And then there are things that still cannot be said on open forum.

With the risk drawing some Bhakt tag, i would flat out say, there is no way modi is losing the second term.... He has done just enough for optics without really shaking up the status-quo for a nation that was built largely on optics.
