IB chief expresses concern over Chinese interest in N-E insurgent groups
    TNN | Sep 16, 2011, 02.51AM IST

NEW DELHI: Intelligence Bureau director Nehchal Sandhu on Thursday said reports of growing interest of China in insurgent groups in the northeast needs to be probed at the earliest.

Addressing top police brass of the country at a conference here, Sandhu said there was a need to review the "fresh evidence of intrusive Chinese interest in the affairs of Indian insurgent groups".

He said, "We will also review the impact in the region of continuing presence of northeast insurgents groups in Myanmar and to some extent in Bangladesh."

Referring to the two recent terror incidents, Sandhu said the spectre of terrorism continued to haunts us and the recent blasts were a reminder of the grave threat of terror. He Sandhu said Indian police apparatus had not been quick enough to change tactics and strategies to match up to the terrorists.

He said proven investigation techniques may have to be abandoned and a new set of guidelines to probe such cases needed to be developed at the earliest.

He is right. China should not be allowed to meddle in our domestic affairs and if it continues to do so, we should prop up the Tibetans and even the Uighurs and other nationalities in China.:2GUNS:

I think it is time to resurrect the Tibetan and Uyighur movements once again. CCP is crossing the lines.
