    Who is winning?

I do not have a fast enough connection to watch proceedings live without lag.

Dalai Lama Levina kinda freaked me out.:D

On Topic - At best we will have Pakistanis on the backfoot in this case but they are free to not abide by the rulings of ICJ.

Ok,India wins but Pakistan still "executes" Mr. Jadhav(IMHO,he is already dead,or paralyzed due to drugs). What then?

So what would happen if Pakistan fails to abide by ICJ's rulings.
From the info that I have it might end facing serious consequences for violating ‘Vienna convention on Consular Relations.’ The violation will result in serious sanctions from UN which Pakistan can’t afford.
Chapter VII of the UN Charter provides for enforcement actions.
Article 41 of the U.N Charter authorizes the Security Council to call upon the members to take measures not involving the use of armed forces. Measures under Article 41 includes
    1. Complete or partial interruption of economic relation.

2.Complete or partial interruption of Rail, Sea, Air, Postal or other means of communication
Examples of restrictions by the U.N Security Council:
1.Economic sanctions against Iraq in 1990.

    2.Arms embargo against Liberia in 1992 .

    3. Oil and arm embargo in Haiti in 1993.

But then backed by China, Pakistan might get away with it by not abiding by the rulings. What else can be expected of a country which executes its own democratically elected leaders while army watches with pride?

If Pakistan does not abide by ICJ's ruling, it create a precedence in favor of India.

India winning the case while Kulbhusan is already dead is best possible outcome for India. Kulbhusan is going to rot in Pakistani jail for life. It is good for him, if he is dead. It is good for India if he is dead.

They are likely to not abide by the unfavourable ruling of ICJ...But in that case they will also lose ground to go to ICJ for any future conflicts (including water treaties) with India. So it's really going to be a tough situation for Pakistan.

The ICJ verdict will force Pakistan to come out with the status of Cdr Jadhav whether he is alive or dead. If he is dead, Pakistan must brace for an all out war.

None of that is going to happen till daddy China is there to save their back. As I've said if the ruling is in favor of India then we will have the complete liberty to escalate things in the region.

Actually there is nothing solid in their arguements.Court already rejected video presentation.
Depending on Passport is really a folly .Because any tom ,dick and harry can furnish a passport like that .ISI has all facilities to furnish such a passport that even challenges original, forget ISI even a racket can furnish something like that.

I heard the full reply of Pak AG. He read out article 36 of Geneva convention in detail including all the subsections and subsub sections. After that what case can he have? The convention requires that within three months the govt of the national caught has to be informed and granted consular access. here Pakistan has gone ahead and convicted the person to death without complying with article 36. What defence can they have?
