Troops overpower two infiltrators on LoC

Indian Army troops overpowered and captured two infiltrating Pakistani militants on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district, an official statement said Monday.

According to a defence statement, the two men were infiltrating into Indian territory in the Tangdhar sector on the evening of Oct 12 when they were apprehended.

The statement said that based on specific intelligence inputs, the army had established cordon and surveillance points near the LOC.

“The terrorists were challenged and overpowered by the troops. One pistol, two magazines, ammunition and identity cards issued by Pakistan-occupied Kashmir were among the various items recovered from the terrorists,” the statement said.

The terrorists were later handed over to local police.

Hours after Pakistan's Director General of Military Operations’ assertion of his country’s non-violation of the November 2003 ceasefire and other hostile activities across the LoC, an 82-mm mortar terminated the life of an Indian Lance Naik in Poonch district.

Mohammad Sarosh Khan, 31, died on spot when the mortar fell close to Tekri post of Bhimbar Gali, in Mendhar, where two Indian soldiers had been killed in the current year's first major offensive in January. At 5:30 p.m, an hour before his wife and two young children would have delivered their Eid Mubarak to him, Lance Naik Khan lost his life for the country.

On Wednesday, scores would throng Khan's residence in Char Minar but not to celebrate the much awaited Eid-ul-Azha. They would instead perform the young soldier's funeral and console his family.

The Arafa, a day before the Eid, witnessed intermittent firing from morning till late in the evening on the LoC in Poonch district. It began at 6:30 a.m, except for a minor break in the afternoon.

    RIP brave soldier!!

Ceasefire violations by Pakistan are happening almost everyday. How many of our soldiers have died due to ceasefire violations along LOC this year alone??...and these congressi traitors are pushing for peace talks like nothing has happened.

We need to avenge the death of our soldiers and for that Congress should be kicked out first.

Indian army firing kills Punjab Rangers' official

SIALKOT: Unprovoked firing from the Indian army at the Line of Control (LoC) left one Punjab Rangers’ official dead on Thursday, Express News reported.
The official was identified as Asrar.
The firing occurred in Sialkot’s Chaprar sector and stopped after retaliatory firing from the Pakistan army.
On October 7, India had asked Pakistan to maintain the ‘sanctity of the Line of Control’ if it wanted an upswing in bilateral ties.
“We have repeatedly emphasised that the maintenance of sanctity of LoC is of primary importance. Even at the last meeting between Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif, this issue was re-emphasised,” the external affairs ministry spokesperson had said, according to The Times of India.
    Earlier violations
On October 15, Indian troops had opened shelling from across the LoC, injuring a woman. The Indian shelling had hit the civilian population of Datoot village of Nakyal Tehsil of Kotli.
On October 11, Indian troops had fired mortars across the LoC, killing a child and wounding three other people.
Furthermore, on September 2 the Indian Army had carried out unprovoked shelling in the Nakyal sector leaving numerous children stranded inside a local school.
On August 27, at least five people, including two women and a girl, were injured by heavy shelling and unprovoked firing in the same area. The continuous shelling and bombardment across the LoC had forced the natives to flee.
Moreover, on August 26 unprovoked firing from the Indian Army had injured six civilians.

Jammu, BSF kills 2 soldiers in return fire

Two Pakistani rangers were killed in return fire by Indian paramilitary forces in RS Pura sector of Jammu, Border Security Force (BSF) officials said on Thursday.

They said heavy firing was on between the Pakistani rangers and the BSF near the Line of Control (LoC) at Kharkolla post in Jammu and Kashmir.

BSF officials said that Pak rangers started firing at the Kharkolla post. The BSF retaliated to Pakistani firing and caused massive damage to their post. Two Pakistani soldiers were killed in the operation, they said.

Incidents of heavy firing have increased in the last few days as Pakistan Army has been trying to push infiltrators into India before winter begins. According to army sources, about 800 terrorists are waiting in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) to cross the border.

There are three ways out::::1-->There should be a leader like Gandhi ji who can brainwash the pakistani public and get them out of the terrorism mindset.....2-->Conduct an indian version of operation searchlight, track all terror mindset politician and other personel and kill them.3-->A leader like NAMO who can let them dream that they can have money can have better education can have better jobs better lifestyle better presence on global prespective and for all this the very first thing is then need to work with India and have better relationship with it.....However all these three steps are approximately IMPOSSIBLE..BUT lets hope for the good.
