The best way forward is to
    • not destroy the treaty by saying India respects international treaties and bindings ( a way via which we can say we are different wrt to post SCS ruling scenario where a country threw and refused to accept the ruling out)
    • use our portion as deemed and agreed in a phase wise manner with proper planning and adjoining infrastructure
    • cut out the big political bomb of saying IWT too much in public for chest thumping or for brownie points
    • negate the opportunities via which J&K issue gets internationalized

    Ramification and potential strategy
    • IWT treaty reversal or any effort to nullify it will lead to new breed of blind hatred and war mongering
    • High chance another foolish cause will be propagated to entertain mass recruitment from different countries and open up the theater of J&K for anti India activities
    • Development must be seen and showcased for the people of J&K to take them onboard and make them understand that by utilising our portion we are building J&K to a better place.. Incorporating such a thing in their daily life will mean tomorrow the local J&K will fight tooth and nail against the opposing countries propaganda bcz its their own life which has got uplifted.. Teh basis is simple - make them get used to a better life and thus they will oppose those who want to take that lifestyle away from them.
