    That was the much talked about roadshow in Varanasi .I read it was spontaneous .It seems to have been decided just a week before it happened . Apparently the BJP /RSS war room received inputs that the last phase was going to be crucial & input received till then were pointing out to a hung assembly .

    but no question , he behaved irresponsibly .

    @Abingdonboy quite a few security lapses happened during Modi's three day visit to Varanasi. On the second day of his road show Media somehow got hold of the route map of PM's convoy and they shamelessly aired it without a second thought. That's the pathetic state of affairs we have during elections in India.

    @Robinhood Pandey @vstol jockey
    i talked to few of my friends in Agra. One of them is a businessman and his company employs many muslim community workers.
    He predicted (statistically it might not mean much for such a small group), that SP will lose ground based on interaction within his company.
    I suppose some sort of change might be coming in even the most backward and communally divided societies are willing to look above their conventional voting pattern within community or caste.
    i see this as a positive sign for democracy.
    Same goes for AAP in Punjab

    PS: I think its endgame for Rahul!
    PPS: @MilSpec if it goes how exit polls are showing, i think banking and infra stocks could be a good bet.

    dude, temper temper. I didn't make BJP lose, AAP did. You can pick on all the AAP people, half of delhi etc. Plus IP address is dynamic in India, so won't help. :cheers:

    Most exit polls did not predicted a close contest.All ,except one, predicted clear majority for AAP. They only underestimated the extent of Congress's collapse.

    In Punjab, it is race between AAP and Congress. If AAP wins and Kejariwal leaves Delhi for Punjab, I count it as a win, else I count hung assembly as a win.

    They under-estimated the magnitude of AAP win. There was a nice conversation between Arnab and AAP on this issue the day before the election results were announced. You should check it out.

    You mean Punjab? No one's saying that. SAD + BJP is out for a long long time.
