Isro calls Bengaluru students to launch 'water rocket'

    • ISRO has called for applications from students in Bengaluru to participate in the water rocket launch competition being hosted by the space agency.
    • Schools can nominate one interested student to the selection process by providing the name, contact details and age of the student.
    BENGALURU: The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) has invited applications from high school students in Bengaluru to participate in a selection process, getting through which will allow them to launch a water rocket at the 24th session of Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-24) being hosted by the space agency.

    "...A 'Water Rocket Launch Competition' for students from the participating countries will be held on November 12, 2017 in Bengaluru and students from Bangalore based high schools are invited to participate in the two tier selection process by Isro to select a group of students to represent the host city in the event. Participating students must be between the age of 12 and 16 on the day of the Water Rocket Event and their nomination has to come from their respective schools," Isro said.

    ISRO water launch rocket for students has been welcome,these programme will show interest,ability,gaining knowledge for changing rocket science.
