True. But for that you should have been careful not to slip up some times and reveal your true identity while braying "I am from the majority community" other times to score cheap points.

Believe me there is nothing wrong in taking pride in one's one faith, identity etc.

I was not asking about your mental situation:lol:

very Correct. And in the similar way no one is expected to prove to the minority that tehy mean no harm. Got it?? :azn:

Similarly people no harm attitude is taken as given as granted. Some may harm minorities but thats common every where. :azn:

Just because Hindus have to prove that they mean no harm to minorities than you are welcome to AGRA.

1984. I know your argument as well. That was not a riot as congress was the ruling party right

Nope it is people like you because of them minorities feel insecure.

Exactly that's what out text book says. He fought for his own empire. They don't tell this Mughal/Muslim ruler were same foreign invaders like British but more brutal. They don't tell you about their Islamic empire dream and massacre of Hindus for not converting to Islam. Have you ever heard of "jiziya Tax" !

Oh you omnipresent troll. From when was people's attitude supposed to be 'taken for granted'? People's attitudes were always supposed to reflect the values of the constitution and those of a healthy society that's why they are 'educated' in those values for decades. 1984 was a riot, but that was well over 20 years ago and I have not seen a similar level of discontent since the end of militancy in Punjab. Sikhs are mainstream, there is no real doubt about it.

Every relegion has negative things. The idea behind 1947 is that you forget what aurangazeb and many others did and start afresh with a new manadate, and a new consitution. The modern indian replublic isn't the place for your to enact your fantasies of revenge against muslims. If that were the case, you should be taken even more bitter revenge against the Brahaman's. No single group practiced as much discrimination against others as much as brahmins did.

There really was no solid idea of 'India' in those days. That happened under Gandhi. Until then all players fought for their individual states. It was no different in the first war of independence. All said and done, Tipu did fight the british for the people of his state (and he did enjoy popuarity among his people) honorably while so many others just gave in/ sold themselves.

These kind of laws based on religion, caste, gender, minority etc are the stupidest things I've ever heard of, especially in this day and age. A country, especially a secular country is supposed to protect all its people without bias. Then why special treatment for minorities or women? Isn't this this discrimination based on gender and religion?

So only the minorities are citizen of India? What about a new law to protect majorities against discrimination in education, employment and housing? In fact this is what is more justifiable since the majority have always been discriminated against by reservations that are already in practice.

This Reservation mentality is one of the most backward and ignorant ways to think and it just serves to divide the country and promotes discrimination.

So from now on I don't have the right to decide whom to rent MY own house that I have built with MY hard earned savings and the Govt will dictate to whom I should rent.

A good definition of a Police state. Good going "Democratic" India.
