Do you see any possibility of integrating EJ 230 (Your engine for LSA) use din LCAQ mk2? if that is done, LCA MK2 shall become super plane surpassing even Gripen NG. Your views sir.

KLIMOV from Russia was supposed to provide 3D thrust vector vector technology for kaveri and other jet engines, but I don't know the current status @vstol jockey should be able to answer this.

Plus Kaveri Engine is 50cms smaller which saves space for additional fuel and smaller fighter.

Originally LCA MK2 was to be made 1 meter long by by adding fuselage plug but now it is just 0.5 meter (50cms) and if Kaveri is used we get 1 meter of space with just 0.5 meter of fuselage plug lowering RCS and time for R&D.

KLIMOV has already signed an agreement with GTRE but first GTRE has to provide an engine which can be equipped with TVC nozzle.

IAF always wanted EJ-200/230 for LCA but somehow this stupid thing called L-1 forced this dud called F414 on us.

This is very bad but now we should take a government to government deal route to make it happen.

Can any one tell the expected thrust dry/wet of drdo snecma engine ? As of now it is 52 dry 81 wet with directionally solidified blade achieved with core temperature of 1470 c . Better second generation scb based on tot from Russia are ready which are made of nickle chromium super alloy of Indian origin with 100 c more durable to ds blade . Perhaps these second generation scb and blisk goes to Kaveri with weight saving and improvement of both dry and wet thrust from 52/81 . This lead to core temperature of 1575 c . But Kaveri needs a core temperature of ~1850 c with a pressure ratio of 27:1 . If this achieved a dry thrust of ~70 and wet thrust of ~ 110 is possible according to some experts on net ??? What I am trying to ask ....
Are original objectives of Kaveri ( 1850 c core temperature, 27:1 fan pressure ratio ) going to achieved through this joint venture ?
What will be final thrust of this joint venture engine ?
Is this engine go to AMCA or other engine from ge drdo joint venture ?

All we know now is that the numbers will be similar or better compared to GE404. Test flights scheduled in 2018.

    Thanks.
Could you write a simple summary or a list of technologies. It's a paid article and won't make much sense to most of us anyway.
