    Israelis will be validating the aerodynamics and provide 100% support to make it in India. They may make Cockpit in Israel and ship it to India.

    Is this some sort of joint production deal? I thought the whole aircraft will be made in India and the Israelis will get some sort of license to have some production and assembly in Israel.

    And have you thought of exports to other countries also?

    Elbit Cockpit-NG setup?

    Plus, are you looking at a single vertical fin like Tejas or dual fin like F-35?

    I can't share full details of what the deal is but the aircraft will be 100% made in India with substantial help from Israel.

    So India-Israel will have full control of the aircraft's technologies. We won't have to worry on that front. The only drawback is the engine will be British. So you will have to work out some really good deal with them to get assured support.

    I think it will be really convenient for your project if ADA chooses EJ230 as AMCA's main engines. The number of assured orders will guarantee a very significant ToT.

    You can trust me to cut a very nice deal with them but I also have other options which are equally good. If EJ consortium loses LSA engine deal, they will never be able to recover the shock.

    Based on what I understood of the internal configuration, I reckon we're looking at a combination of the Y-duct setup seen in Tejas, combined with the type of serpentine inlets being developed for AURA. A rough sketch :

    The F-22's twin-engine ducts for comparison;

    @Gessler , a single engine aircraft with side intakes will have a Y duct only. My duct is very close to that of F-22 as it rises upwards and than drops down at engine face but it is elliptical in shape. That gives me the depth for main bay in the fuselage.

    In case someday the British sanction the engine, can existing LSAs be equipped with an alternate engine without affecting long term availability?

    If we disregard super cruise. RD-33 WASP fitted in Mig-29K and also being produced in Koraput in India is good enough for LSA.

    I also have the option of converting LSA into a twin engine aircraft using F-125 or under development HAL engine with similar capabilities.
