    Another explanations possible :
    1) they find you too light and too alone to manage such a huge project.
    2) They find your project far too ambitious in term of results for a light SE fighter( my opinion).
    3) they have too many things in the pipe to work on a new project (Rafale MII and export versions and SCAF for DA, F35 and SCAF for Bae, A400M for Airbus...)

I did get a reply from DA and they stated that they are already too occupied in India and so can't support LSA.

Do you seriously think there will be any further funds provided by the govt. for the development of an Indian fighter, after the gigantic botch up job that is LCA ?

The best way for DRDO to succeed is to have a collaboration with the Indian Industry giants. Private companies develop and market new defense products while DRDO carry on their research and supply (sell/auction) the necessary tech to these companies. This way it will be good for DRDO and the country.

The drive/passion will never be big enough for DRDO with their employees being on a fixed pay scale. The soviets did produce a few good equipment, but, there the drive was "fear". If they did not not deliver, Stalin or Kruschev would fuk their a$$.

That involves a policy shift. DRDO's mandate should be the same as DARPA.

    and

HAL should be split into multiple companies. Too much shit going on.

I think its end of the road for all home grown fighters . The political and economic scenario does not seem conducive for any new fighter, let alone the amca. I think the lca will will be inducted with the new kaveri and it will make do for the dearth of iaf fighters.

    Old Indian Saying ...................

When all the Doors are closed, but still the God keep one door left open. Luckily GTRE, HAL, and now Private Indian firms are doing good in the Engine development.

Question is he might have to face more problem, sorry more effort is required, but if some how if he succeeded, then the taste of his success would be more sweater, but those OEM's taste would be ???????????
