When injustice was mated out to Col Purohit, Gen D Kapoor was COAS and he got a flat in that housing society in Mumbai the same year. Now we can connect the dots. Same General also refused to order forces across the border after 26/11 by giving an assessment which MMS wanted.

 

Apart from the above (parts of which - like Gen Kapoor's assessment - I'd take with a pinch of salt ) , it's an indictment of our judicial system .The 26/11 trial commenced later and was successfully closed with the hanging of Kasab .This has yet to reach trial stage/proceed beyond trial stage (haven't kept tabs on the progress ).

 

How did someone like that manage to become COAS. Gives me nightmares of the condition of the nation.

You might remember that Gen VK Singh took over from Gen D Kapoor and his follow on was Gen Bikram Singh. You might also remember why UPA-2 was hell bent on ensuring that Gen VK Singh's case of birth date is decided such that Gen Bikram Singh could take over. The second COI in the case of Col. Purohit was started after the retirement of Gen VK Singh and was conducted under Gen Bikram Singh and we still do not have any report about the conclusions of that COI. Does this not explain how UPA fooled this nation with Generals who were bikau? Col Purohit is a victim of the system which Army has created for itself be selling their soul to corruption. One more very interesting thing, The sabotage of Arjun tank took place in 2007 under Gen Deepak kapoor's tenure. That explains a lot. AND Arjun won hands down under Gen VK Singh's tenure against T-90s in 2010. Is this just a co-incidence or does it explain much more than what meets the eye?

 

No don't. I believe that Propaganda must always be countered rather than buried. Because we can't bury the one's who came up with it and leaving it unchecked only allows them to convert more impressionable minds into their fold.
