    The problem was
    1. There was no substantial proof at the time of announcing Dassault the preferred bidder, about EF Consortium having made any significant movements on AESA front.

    2. After that the problem persisted of atleast a difference of ~15 million USD in "FLY AWAY " cost of the aircraft compared to Dassault offer. And the Germans who had India under their belt showed no signs of flexibility.

    Bhai,

MK1 programme might end with F404,

by the time MK1A as a platform flies, Kaveri might get integrated into it. ( deal signed )

MK2 got 2 F414 engine delivered for development ( deal signed and delivered )

only AMCA is still in designing stage , that may be can change engine options

EJ2i0 isnt signed yet, but like Prasun & VSTOL had said it had do with HTFE 40,

Probably a Adour core for Jaguar engine replacement program with some upgradation
    so Bye bye Honeywell.

It seems US isn t willing to trasfer tech, neither GE414 nor Honeywell 125N .

So LSA might get Jaguar Avionic system architecture like DARIN 4 and also engines.. and also has tail plane configuration .

i feel its okay , as long as LSA gets to fly in sky.
Future up gradation potential is unlimited .

That's true, at that time they had not developed the fighter to the necessary levels, but then again that was the reason why they offered us a partnership, otherwise we would have gotten the same buyer / seller relationship we got from Dassault now.

So was paying more then, for more access to techs and know how worth it? Yes
Did we had the budget to procure and operate that many EF's? Probably not.

But now we might have the chance to get partnerships from the UK that are not related to the EF anymore, which makes it a viable choice for our improvement.

The present HAWKs with them are of IAF training quota. A 20 aircraft proposal for having a dedicated Surya Kiran unit was backed , untill this year when things happened about RR and a previous deal.

That's why I gave you 2 different sources. But it's well known that our ground radar development's, well actually all our radar developments are largely supported by Israelis and I'm happy about that and I want us to make more joint developments.

No sir, both are from the same source. Force India is PKS's magazine.

Arudhra MPR is DRDO's own design presently under trials.

He writes for Force, the author of that article however was someone else.
And an own design doesn't mean own techs. LCA MK1 was supposed to get an indigenous MMR, which then was changed to an hybrid between our design and techs from the EL2032.
Which again is perfectly fine for me, and I would take the hybrid MMR any day over an 100% indigenous one, that is not capable enough for our forces.

Our access to Russia, Israel and European partners is a huge advantage that China doesn't have, but we have to use this advantage and get the most out of it. That's why a possibly desperate UK, is a perfect chance for us.

Still, there is no proof of Israeli involvement in this project.
