Apparently Malawi’s entire sexual harassment problem is caused by women not wearing Hijabs. It’s unclear then why Egypt has such high sexual harassment rates. Or Saudi Arabia where women are hardly allowed to leave the house or show their faces.

Or rare for them to report it between the honor killings and the four witnesses. Also this kind of suggests that Muslims are doing most of the molesting.

That doesn’t sound like much of a plan to fight sexual harassment unless it’s Muslim women doing the harassing. But the veil was innovated in Islam as a means to allow Mohammed’s followers to distinguish between women who belonged to a man and those who didn’t.

This is what Muslim feminism looks like.

I guess it does beat stoning them to death or cutting women's genitals.

Northern Europe was among the most sexually liberal parts of the world and simultaneously had the lowest rates of sex crimes, even while their legal definition of rape is often more inclusive than other parts of Eurasia. In addition, attitudes toward equality for women in society were easily most progressive in that subcontinent compared to anywhere else.

So when people propose that women must appear more decent and cover themselves up to avoid harassment, they are either threatening women to sex crimes themselves, or they are admitting that they lack the capacity to control themselves around women as much as other people and cultures, which apparently get along perfectly well either way.

This goes for muslims as much as all others that claim women bear any portion of the responsibility for sex crimes. Any half intelligent, thinking human would take away from this nothing more than that the people who are proponents of such measures are either threatening women themselves or claiming some deficiency in controlling their behavior around women.

We must find solutions for sex crimes against women that do not have Indian women feel forced to share in responsibility for sex crimes in which they are victims. The deficit between the social and technological development of people in European nations and India is a manifestation of upbringing, opportunities, and education; these are the areas to focus our efforts. It is an uphill battle to bridge the development gap but we must be creative and willful we will not allow ourselves to follow in the footsteps of theocracies.
