The symbol in front of your bike, i thought it was osiris from my mobile, then i realised its faravahar. Anyways why didn't you put a windshield man? it would help you from those wind blasts in highway

I was probably (arguably) the first guy I know of who put the FZ windscreen on my then 200. Did not like it. And the top end actually comes down. Plus you cannot crouch on the tank as before (not tall guys at least). Took it out within a week. Always ridden nakeds. Used to wind blast. Plus when you tour long distances over multiple days, even weeks, you realize that regardless of the top end of your bike, it's your top end that matters. Day after day. You tend to conserve the bike. And yourself. On the 390, she purrs comfortable at 130-140. With the dual purpose tyres, that comes down to 100-120. The bike can do more, but it's not comfortable. Plus you wear yourself out gunning. Nit possible on 900+ km days. Day after day. You are always against the general flow if the traffic, except for few GQ stretches. And you burn through fuel at an alarming rate. Which is an issue on a KTM with unable 9 to max 9.5 liters. If you notice carefully, I was carrying aluminium fuel bottles on either side in my saddlebags. 2 - 2.25 liters each. Crucial safety net. Came in handy more than once. 100-120 kmph is perfect on Indian roads with a fast bike. Above that, you are testing fate.

    Cheers, Doc

P.S. Yeah, that's our Faravahr. I have it on all my bikes and cars. Front n back both. Most places people assume it's an army emblem. Especially on my Bullets. The in your face loud orange persona of the KTM, makes it difficult! Lol

P.P.S. What do you ride and which city are you based in?

I like twittering so much better than tweeting.

    Captures the essence perfectly.

Little sparrows on the tree outside my room in Jamshedpur as a boy, studying, with the twittering in the background.
