ehhhh....let's just put this in perspective. UK picking up a fight with Russia is like Charlie Chaplin picking up a fight with Mike Tyson. Surely it would not end well. They would (will) have erased your existence, then sent the KGB to finish off any remaining Britishers anywhere in the world and then rewrote history books so that no one would ever know you ever existed.

500 thermonuclear warheads would also have erased their existence. Plus, the whole of NATO would have opened up on them and then turned Russia into a theme park afterwards.

How you can stand there and mock Britain's relationships when your own relationships are completely ridiculous is beyond me. Gotta lick Russia's arse to support us against Pakistan, but they won't support us against China, so gotta lick Europe and the US's arse too. Now that relationship is really 'special'... special needs that is.

Lol!! Did you just say that itsy bisty Britain will 'erase' USSR? Guess what if the war was imminent- even before you began movig they'd have fried you. Hell they'd have fried you just to warn the US that absolute nuclear war was imminent. 'See I'm serious and as proof I'm erasing this weed off the face of the planet'

Russia and India have a very different national interest based relationship. We don't 'own' them, they support us extensively on Pak because it suits them, not as much on china because interests diverge. We work with them on several areas that are common, and work with the US elsewhere. THIS is what a mature relationship looks like. There is only one bend over-ass licker and we know who that is

Last time I looked, they had less than 500 cities. It takes 30 minutes for their warheads to get here, by that time ours would have been launched. And Pershing IIs based in the UK could be launched 10 minutes after they launched and still get there 10 minutes before theirs strike, and with pin-point accuracy.

Well that's nice, they support you against your weakest enemy that you don't really need their support against and then turn their back on you when it comes to your strongest enemy. Dude, you're being permanently tea-bagged and complaining about ass-lickers.

actually no. The UUSR would have finished you well before you act. hell they can fry you with their Typhoons and you won't realize what hit you. And India doesn't depend on 'special relationships' alone- we dangle solid multi-billion dollar deals to keep the relationship going.

Any SLBM or ICBM launch would have been detected. The Pershing II could have reached Moscow faster than anything they had could reach London. India depends on the rest of the world to arm it, I don't see how you can look down on the UK.
