There never is a nuke war between two nuke possessing adversaries.

This does not rules out Conventional and Economic War.

Exactly. Once credible nuclear deterrence has been achieved, MAD comes into play and sinking further resources to build up nuclear weaponry does not pay dividends. Pakistan and India already have MAD. This latest launch helps in a dick measuring contest, but not much else.

Well Yes...Pakistan is Economically much weaker than us.....But we always make a mistake of viewing Pakistan as a stand alone Entity...
Perhaps It should be viewed as an extension of CHINA...and perhaps it's mouthpiece in some cases...

Now we all know......China is far better off than India Economically and in many areas of weapons technology...

The Babur seems to be Indigenous...But what if....China gifts them.....more advanced WU-14's or YJ-12's !? In enough numbers they can wreak havoc....Do we have a diplomatic or military counter for it....!?

(PS : How do you thing the Pakistani's managed to buy so many Chinese subs for Billions of Dollars.....The Chinese funded them to an extent..a soft loan perhaps...)

(PPS : We have to agree the Pakistani's beat us to the punch when it comes to cruise missiles....They have air launched , Surface launched and submarine launched missiles...while we cant make ours even fly properly...congratulations to Pakistan... I hope ours will fly soon too... )

India too is a nuclear weapon state, and at some point, enrichment technology and heavy waters reactors would start appearing in China's neighbourhood.

MAD is not as perfect as you think it is. A big enough gap in conventional and technological strength could ensure that you would never get a chance to practice MAD. It would have been perfect had nukes been a total weapon of devastation as media and activists make them out to be; and some nukes like Czara Bomba are that good; but the type of nukes fielded by Indian and Pakistan have primary destruction radius of less than 100 meters, and they could barely kill anyone beyond three kilometer radius even by tertiary effect.

World powers will never allow a country like Pakistan to have credible sea launched nukes.

Imo we are in for a final showdown in 2017.

I expect the border to heat up again once the snow melts, time to quit the sutle tactics and go in for the kill.

    Not much.

Not only SLCM have a weight limitation, but also diameter limitation.

No one would do anything. SLCMs are not that big a threat to world powers as SLBMs are.

Even at this time, they would be more concerned about Pakistani nukes ending in Truck of peace heading for Berlin or Paris.

Yes, a very good video with a very zingy song to go with, but short skit. Have you seen Allahu-Akbar vine compilation. I once posted them here, but Nair removed them for being hurtful to Islam; though they are not by a long stretch and one of the most funny video that are on youtube.

On the contrary, it gives India the complete freedom to 'secure' Pakistani nuclear sites. And before anyone says that it is not known, they shall really need to think again.

Lately IA has been practicing exactly the same.

India should not need a reason for taking out Pakistani nukes.

It will be invitation of two front war.
    Can't you see that?
And I think we are not prepared to take on China as of yet (and honestly can never be)
Russia at best could remain neutral.
Uncle Sam is definitely not not going to mess with China in overt war.
PS. I don't want to look like a pessimist but it's all I can think of as an civilian

We did nothing when we could have defanged them. And I bet we are going to do nothing this time too, may be except for raising concern to UN/US
