UDF or Congress was having a good time with gaines from a political murder marketed well in the name of communists through media warfares.

LDF or Commies were down to drain with infaction party issues and were expected to loose.

BJP has fielded a very respectful man named Rajagopal who was a central minister once by winning a rajya sabha seat outside state.

The party intelligence report i got talked about communists votes getting transferred to BJP as the commies dont want congress to win and their candidate is a guy who resigned from communist party and joined Congress ad they hate him much.

Congress party marketing was hi-fi and fully glamorous while BJP was doing grass root campaigning which got them seats in panchayat corporation elections.

BJP has never won MLA or MP elections in Kerala and there is a possibility of opening the account this time around if they use the situation well as election is in coming week.

Btw I persoally know the previous minister candidate Rajagopal very well and he is a much respected man by all party's people.

Yeah, taking a day off from work, stopping all means of transportation and burning few KSRTC buses are a fine way to protest.Do you know how many tax payers money are lost due to the charade. This is precisely the reason no investments come to Kerala.Kerala is one of the most difficult place to do business in India.

That was during British rule.If he was alive today he would've kicked these leaders butts for ordering these kind of protests.

Yes. Last time it was so close for him.

This time around there are realistic issues to talk to.Hence chances are high.

Of course people should protest. But not this way.Do you see this kind of protests in developed countries or even China. Here in Kerala some one sneezes opposing parties call for hartal. We are a democracy,we have powerful media, social networking sites,we have plenty of way to protest. But sadly our mind set is still the same as that of colonial days.
