Hindu Girl Gets Killed By Well Educated Doc Mirza Rafiqul, Because She Said No To Islam Claims Father Of Girl

Jamshedpur: In a shocking incident, a 30 year-old girl, identified as Chayanika Kumari, was strangled to death by her alleged paramour, one Dr Mirza Rafiqul Haque, in Hotel Ginger at Bistupur on Friday last.

City police arrested the accused soon after recovering the body kept in a blue trolley bag and dumped outside the Tatanagar railway station. They also confiscated the belongings of the deceased from the hotel. An FIR has been lodged against the accused with the Bagbera police station in this connection.

According to SSP Anoop T Mathew, the accused, posted as an RMO at the BM Birla Hospital in Kolkata, strangled the deceased with the help of a steel chain in room number 201 of the said hotel following a dispute between the two. After killing the girl, who worked as operation head in a Kolkata hospital, the accused packed her body in the trolley bag and dumped it on the pavement outside Tatanagar station, said the SSP.

The SSP said the deceased was arrested on the basis of information collected by police from the identity card found in the bag. Police searched in local hotels and eventually found out that the accused and the deceased had stayed in the hotel. Police also watched CCTV footage of the hotel to identify the accused. They seized a comb, water bottle, spectacles, slippers and purse belonging to the deceased.



According to police, the deceased became close to Dr Mirza while working in the Institute of Laparoscopic Surgery (ILS), Kolkata, three years back. On 31st October last, the accused booked a room in Hotel Ginger. The deceased would him in the hotel every day. On the day of crime, the two quarreled over the alleged affair of Chayanika with some other man. Irked over her alleged affair, Dr Mirza strangled Chayanika with a chain. But the father of the girl claims that his daughter is murdered because she said to convert to Islam.

The Kolkata city court today found one suspected Bangladeshi national guilty in the 2015 rape of elderly nun, which had awakened the inner detective of the likes of so-called journalists Rana Ayyub. On 14th March, 2015, the 71-year-old nun was gangraped at a convent allegedly by a group of six Bangladeshi nationals who had entered the convent after overpowering the security guard. They broke the safe and stole around Rs 12 lakh before proceeding to the first floor of the convent and raping the nun in her room. The CCTVs installed in the campus captured most of the incident which took place between 1 and 4 am.

The five accused, Salim Sheikh, Gopal Sarkar, Khaleda Rahaman Mintoo, Milan Sarkar and Ohidul Seikh, have been chargedunder IPC sections 120B (punishment for criminal conspiracy), 395 (punishment for dacoity), 397 (robbery or dacoity with attempt to cause death or grievous hurt), 376 (sexual assault), 376 D (intercourse), 212 (harbouring offender), 216 A (penalty for harbouring robbers or dacoits) and 109 (punishment of abetment). One suspect is currently missing.

This incident was used by propagandists masquerading as journalists to immediately attack and systematically blame Modi and RSS for the rape. Rana Ayyub, as we’ve already mentioned, took just 18 hours to use her brilliant deductive and detective skills to blame “inherent hatred of a faith” flared by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

SHIMLA: An Army Colonel was arrested on Wednesday over the alleged gang-rape of the daughter of a Lieutenant-Colonel posted at the Army Training Command - one of the seven commands of the Army which aims to improve effectiveness of training of the defence forces in the country.

The 21-year-old was allegedly gang-raped at the Colonel's official residence here on Monday. The FIR was registered a day later. A friend of the officer, present in the residence where the crime took place, has also been accused in the case, but is yet to be arrested. Despite repeated attempts by TOI , there were no comments from Army headquarters.

Shimla SP Soumya Sambasivan confirmed an FIR was registered on the complaint of the survivor after conducting preliminary investigations. The two men have been booked for gang rape after recording the survivor's statement and completing medical examination.

The survivor said that before the assault took place, the accused had on November 19 invited her along with her father to attend an event at Shimla's Gaiety Theatre.

Once she WhatsApped the photos to him, he asked her to come to his place to meet professionals from the modelling industry. However, when she went to his place, the Colonel forced her into a room, made her drink liquor and raped her.




The Colonel's friend allegedly helped the officer in committing the crime. The survivor alleged that the officer threatened to ruin her father's career if she spoke about the crime to anyone.
