Rabi crop has wheat & cereals as its main crop. They gain weight during the cold days of end Jan and end Feb. The delay in sowing due to demonetisation will bring down the yield per acre by upto 20% as the crops have been sown late and will become ripe for cultivation before they assume their actual size. What is being told is bullshit. The actual crop size will be same as drought years. I have large agricultural fields and I know about crops so please do not get misguided by what GOI is putting out. The grain size of wheat and cereals will be small and that will bring down the yield per acre.
