You need a jet ready for war. F35 is all but ready. And just wait the massive arrival of multistatic radars and the sole remaining supposed quality of F35 will vanished, and what will remain? an anemic and fat plane.

Which as usual doesn't make any sense, since the mmrca bids have nothing to do with the price of the 36. If the PM wouldn't had made a show during his visit in France and at least had asked for a proposal of the UK for example, he could have gotten a cheaper deal and faster induction, since UK could had provided them from their order instead of negotiating with the EF consortium.
And yes Rafale "was" technically superior to EF.

Although MMRCA end has been totally anti climax but India still went aheadwith Rafale resisting the temptation of going for US planes for this deal fearing sanctions and end control issues and avoided Eurofighter for having hackles of dealing with many countries in future and perhaps it too might have many hidden cost as happened with Dassault

Rafale was found to be technically more worthy n potent aircraft and France were found to be much safer sanctions wise. Dassault has though taught many lessons to Indian Defence ministry for future deals with any country with respect to hidden cost and turning back on conditions of tender

In fact, Thales tried to circumvent HAL especially for the active antenna of the RBE2 by addressing BEL, remarkable professional.

Lol the RBE was always meant to be produced by BEL just like large parts of the avionics, which were mainly divided by BEL and Samtel.

Please pic, if you want to keep denying Dassaults mistakes in the tender, just leave it at that. But let's not go to making up strange stories.
We know that according to the rules of the tender, Dassault and Thales could choose their partners on their own, except for the integration. So it was always up to Thales to go to BEL.

Even HAL confirmed that back than:

Yes, but HAL considered the integration of RBE2 as "system integration"

Gilmore' report does highlight issues that will be solved and as always the FOC will be actually awarded around 2020 which was expected. Let's first put a helmet that is as good as the one on the F-16 on the Rafale before talking about the F-35s helmet.

Stop with your non sense, there has been enough evidence of massive hiding of costs during MRCA and lots of arm twisting from the French side on the Scorpene deal as well, go back and read for yourself and stop believing in French stooges.

no body is peddling the F-35 here, it's the Rafale fan boy lobby who claim their expensive, overrated bird is better than the F-35, someone has to counter this non sense.

The only propagandu came from Dassault who since day 1 of MRCA kept promising 100% TOT, independence and all that cock and bull. With the MRCA process abandoned, there was no question of L1/L2 anymore you fool of a took.
