You have not idea what the F35 is capable of doing, remember USA could put a man on the moon 40 years ago. Something no country can even accomplish forty years later.

For all the big talk they do about Sun Tzu and strategy and all that stuff; China's actual battlefield strategy is usually just to throw human waves at targets, no matter the casualties.

You calculates weights correctly but forgot to add the weight of pylons.
2 x 100kg (?)=this is for the LDP TALIOS. and if you use this, you have to knock off two MICA. So its either 2xMeteor+4xMICA or TALIOS+2xMeteor+2xMICA.

THE INDIAN RAFALES WILL BEAR THE DENOMINATION RAFALE EH AND RAFALE DH
    11 JANUARY 2017

    EXCLUSIVE!

Since September 23, 2016, and after the failure of negotiations under the MMRCA contract, India officially acquired 36 Rafale "on-the-shelf" from the French aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation, for an estimated total of approximately 7, 8 billion euros.

Since then, the production of the first hunters has started in the French companies that are partners of the Rafale program, as well as the training in France of the first Indian aviators.

Meanwhile, pending the delivery of the first aircraft, scheduled to begin in 2019, and the start of development work by the Indian Air Force on its air bases, details are still being given concerning the standards of these Rafale .

Indeed, and according to our information, the Indian Rafale single-seaters will bear the denomination Rafale EH, while the two-seater version will be called Rafale DH.

As for Egypt and Qatar, the letter "D" is a reference to Double (or Dual), since it is here the two-seater Rafales.

The letter "H", common to both versions, comes from the word "Hindustan". The etymology of the word "Hindustan" finds its source in the Iranian language, the Persian.

Wikipedia explains that "the term" Hindustan "is derived from the Persian Hindū. In old Persian, the area beyond the banks of the Indus was known as the Hinduš, which became Hind or Hindū in modern Persian. It is combined with the Persian suffix -stān (literally "place") to give Hindustan: "the land of Hindū".

In the first century BC, the term "Hein-tu" was commonly used by the Chinese to refer to people from northern India. The term became commonly used under the Mughal empire, which designated its dominion, centered on Delhi and the Punjab, as the Hindustan.

Finally, the letter "E" for the single-seaters is still at this stage an interrogation, but it will not be long.

90% is the objective 75% is in the contract, that is to say Dassault will have to pay penalities if disponibility is below 75%.

    Bro,
The production rate of Rafale is increasing : 22/year next year, with a possibility to 33/year with a night shift.
The previous rate (11/year) was imposed by Dassault to maintain skill, if not the french budget allowed anly 6 to 8/year.... but we already have seen a rate to 16/year but I don't remember when (2008 ?).
If MII is inked, that will add new delivery capacity. There is no real bottle neck in France. As you probably know, The french aerospace industry is already able to produce components (in first source or not) for nearly 600+ Airbus, 60 Falcon, some hundreds helo per year.
10, 20 or 30 more Rafale by year is piece of cake.

To fly is one thing. To fight is another one. Betwwen the two : 5 to 10 years (recent trials are more 10 than 5 years)
During the time to pass from one state to the other one, it's only an aeroclub plane. A beautifull one, but quite useless.
