Correct Sir. My grandfather once hunted the famed man-eating tigers in Kumaon with Colonel Corbett. He once killed a tiger with bare hands that had leapt into the courtyard.

Hardly. Colonel Corbett worked with many people in that area, and large hunts had scores of people aiding him. And the story about hand-killing a tiger is not all that rare either. If one has the presence of mind to let the tiger leap and stab from below with a large dagger, it can be done. The key is calm nerves and being armed.

Do you have any pics of your grandfather with Jim corbett or any shikar, I would love to Post them on various wildlife forums where I am a member with your due permission & yes there are many such stories but mostly it's share luck on part of humans...others are not so lucky my grandfather brother wife killed a leopard with just a sickle & in the process was badly mauled by the leopard. She died the same night due to excessive loss of blood, local raja of mandi paid them 2 rupees as compensation:disagree:

Unfortunately, my father's family lost everything in 1947. He arrived in Lahore with the clothes on his back and one bullet remaining. He found out years later that his brother and sister had made it to Karachi. Your story is quite similar. The big cats rake heavily with claws (while they try to bite the neck) and those wounds, if not tended to properly, can cause death. Here is a relatively recent story:

The problem is that those who know Sanjay Leela Bansali's movie is mere a fictional version of history , are not going to be vociferous about it. So it's ppl from organisations like karni sena who take it upon themselves. Now these ppl by nature are aggressive and impulsive so do not expect them to be sweet to others.
My question is why do ppl like Sanjay leela bhansali distort things related only to Hindus? Will they ever dare to show Khilji's truth that he was a gay?
I mean come on if you think distorting history is freedom of your artistic expression then yes you deserve a tight slap on your face.

Yes, karni sena could have avoided creating a scene, but then let this be a lesson to all the Bollytards that whatever you do,you don't disrespect your own ppl and their culture.

Rani padmavati isn't some fictional character, she was the queen of Chittor. If Sanjay Lila Bhansali thinks he can alter the historic facts in the name of pure fiction then he must not use the name of Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji.

To show that Khilji and Padmavati were in love with each other is quite disgusting.

I've seen this video before. Amazing. The leap takes it over the elephant. And they are known to carry full grown cows over walls and up trees.
