    Around what time does the monsoon reaches the eastern coast?? Is the month of may alright for a trip to andaman nicobar islands?

    Bro, Not all Indians feel its cold, i have been in foreign countries long enough and i love the Sub zero conditions, to me 16 Degrees is not cold, I have Air condition on all the time on 16-20 degrees in my home and at work. :tongue:

    Hey @Levina I just watched an episode of Rick Stein's India on BBC covering Kerala and its fabulous cooking. What a place, people and cuisine! If only getting a visa to India were not so difficult for me, I'd be there on my next vacation.

    That was a really good series. He really explored a lot of the nicer parts of the backwaters too.

    Many ppl complain that we use a lot of coconut in our curries. While some find our dishes very spicy. Hehe
    Kerala produces coconuts and peppers so we use both the ingredients liberally.
    You will prolly like the mallu non-veg dishes specially the beef.

    Don't know how it is in America but in Dubai you get authentic mallu food at some places. This is afterall a mini Kerala. Lol
