Military expert and editor of the website "Bulletin of defense" Said Aminov compared the capabilities of the two fifth-generation fighter, the Russian T-50 PAK FA and the American F-22 Raptor. American fighter became the world's first production aircraft fifth generation fighter. Russian PAK FA T-50 has yet to state tests. The first manned aircraft parts they appear in Russia in 2020. But now, according to experts, we can say on what parameters Russian aircraft will surpass its predecessor.

"American F-22 was created, following the ideology of the far missile combat. Due to its low visibility and driving the radar, together with medium-range missiles, he provided the interception of air targets at ranges of acceptable and does not require tying-in air combat, "- said the expert.

However, according to Aminova, the Russian fighter different philosophy - it combines the use of "Stealth" technology with high maneuverability.

"Opportunities for Russian fighter in him supermaneuverability provide significant benefit and advantage. We will soon make those or other maneuvers, certain elements of the air battle, "- said the expert. According to him, the PAK FA exceeds the F-22 in size, that allows you to place more fuel. And last but not least, a Russian fighter jet and a half times higher than for American range.

According Aminova have no external Raptor Suspension arms (the latest anti-radar missiles can not be placed on board), while the weapons for the T-50 is designed so that the newest models of weapons will be placed in the inner compartments of the aircraft.
It is also expected that the new engine for the T-50 will make the plane more maneuverable, and subtle (reduced emissivity in the infrared range). Modern weapons and do not leave the F-22 chance in a dogfight against the T-50.

"We are able to limit the range not only detect targets and take them to support and to open fire even before the F-22 with its missile can strike back. Our missile strike allows for a range of over 150 km, and according to other sources, and more, and the Americans launch range of 120 km, "- says the expert.

He also recalled that one of the F-22 aircraft crashed during landing - the fact that the system of control of the aircraft was laid incorrect code which led to oscillate rudders, and the fighter went into self-oscillation, the approach. According to experts, the US recklessly rely on electronics and machine solutions to complex problems, which are often unavailable computer. In Russia, even in the fifth-generation fighter, equipped with the latest electronic technology, the key decisions pilot.

Modern weapons do not leave the F-22 chance in a direct dogfight against the T-50, concluded Said Amin.

MOSCOW, December 19. / TASS /. The Russian Defense Ministry will receive, in a single day of acceptance, modernized supersonic strategic bomber Tu-160, told Tass source in the "defense industry".

The first flight after modernization of the Tu-160 made on November 16th.

"The Tu-160, named" Andrei Tupolev ", will be transferred to industry Air Force Russia December 19 - in a single day gospriemka" - a spokesman said.

Earlier, the deputy head of the directorate of military aircraft programs of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) Vladislav Goncharenko said that the modernization program launched long-range aircraft. As part of aircraft with "Tupolev" is working under government contracts modernization Tu-22M3 and Tu-95MS and Tu-160. This year's modernization has been ten aircraft.

At the disposal of the Russian Air Force are a dozen Tu-160. Now bombers pass the first stage of modernization, would be replaced by electronic equipment and the equipment of the new weapon system. As previously reported, until 2020, the military plan to receive more than a dozen machines upgraded to the level of the Tu-160M.

In addition, in 2016 the Tu-160 will be equipped with upgraded turbo engines such as NK-32, whose production is resumed at the Samara plant "Kuznetsov" (part of the United Engine Corporation, APC). Investment in this project is estimated at more than 8 billion rubles. In early December, JDC CEO Vladislav Masalov confirmed that the military will receive initial batch production engines for the Tu-160 at the end of 2016.

Russia plans to receive 55 PAK-FAs by 2020

The Russian Air Force (VVS) will have received 55 Sukhoi PAK-FA (T-50) fighter aircraft by 2020, according to Vladislav Goncharenko, the deputy director of the United Aircraft Corporation's (UAC's) combat aircraft department.

The first PAK-FA deliveries are scheduled for 2016.

"The number of prototypes is increasing; the state trial programme is being conducted as per schedule," Goncharenko told Echo of Moscow Radio on 16 December.

Five PAK-FAs have been produced and three more are now being constructed at the Sukhoi Aviation Holding Company Y.A.Gagarin in Komsomolsk-on-Amur (KnAAZ).

Goncharenko said new surveillance and combat unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) ordered by the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) will also be supplied by 2018.

UAC is conducted far-reaching activities in this area, he added.

"We are working on UAVs, and some vehicles in flyaway condition have been made: not only reconnaissance UAVs, which allow [forces] to conduct surveillance on the battlefield but, first of all, heavy combat and reconnaissance systems based on unmanned aerial vehicles," he said.

Russia's MoD has signed a contract with UAC to conduct design work on the tactical military transport aircraft (MTA) Il-112V, he added.

"This year we have signed the contract to conduct design work on the tactical MTA Il-112V. The launch of the aircraft is scheduled for 2018," he said.

The Il-112V is intended to replace the ageing An-24 ('Coke') and An-26 ('Curl"). With a payload of about 6 tonnes, the aircraft will be able to transport military personnel, light vehicles, and armaments.

In late 2013 Deputy Defence Minister Yury Borisov announced that the State Defence Order (Gozoboronzakaz/GOZ) for 2014 included RUB7.9 billion (USD120 million) for finishing Il-112V design works. According to the actual armaments procurement programme, 62 Il-112Vs are to replace the ageing An-26s.

Under the GOZ, UAC plans to produce and supply to the Russian armed forces 105 aircraft. "There is a dead certainty that GOZ-2014 will be realised in full," said Goncharenko. "GOZ-2015 exceeds even these numbers and involves more than 105 aircraft."

In 2011, 19 aircraft were delivered and each year since the number of supplied planes has doubled. In 2013 UAC delivered to the Russian armed forces 68 combat and training aircraft and one MTA.

"This year we plan to supply approximately 100 combat, MTA, and special aircraft. We have already accomplished 80% of the delivery schedule," he added.

UAC has also launched long-range aviation (LRA) and military transport aircraft modernisation programmes. According to the terms of contracts with Tupolev, work on Tu-22M3 ('Backfire C'), Tu-95MS ('Bear H'), and Tu-160 ('Blackjack') upgrades has started. "We have upgraded 10 LRA aircraft pursuant to our 2014 plans," said Goncharenko.

The most sensitive elements and airborne avionics systems of the bombers are to be replaced during the modernisation programme, which will also provide the ability to deploy new air-to-surface weapons.

In transport aviation, Goncharenko said the Il-76 'Candid' to Il-76MDM modernisation programme has been launched.

"Now we are conducting design works that are to be finished in 2016. In 2017 the existing Il-76 upgrade programme will be launched," he said.

The Il-76MDM will be equipped with fully upgraded aircraft avionics.

"The contract to provide 39 Il-76MD-90A until 2020 is also signed with the Russian MoD. The first aircraft will be supplied to the Russian armed forces this year," added Goncharenko.

Sukhoi handed over two Su-34 frontline bombers to the Russian Air Force exceeding initial yearly plan

Moscow, December 22. Today two Su-34 frontline bombers took off the airport of the Sukhoi Company’s branch – the V.P. Chkalov Novosibirsk aviation plant and headed to the place of deployment at one of the air bases in the South of Russia. The aircraft were handed over to the Russian Air Force several days ago. Thus, the Sukhoi Company exceeded the initial yearly delivery plan for the 2014 State Defense Order on that type of aircraft.

The Novosibirsk aviation plant operates at full capacity. The State contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for supplies of the Su-34s to the Air Force up to the year 2020 guarantees its stable work loads for the coming years and identifies long-term development prospects. Currently, Su-34s have been used successfully in the military and demonstrate high performance.

The features of the new generation frontline bomber include, in particular, an increased up to 4000 km flight range, a maximum speed of up to 1900 km/h and a payload of up to 8 tons. The Su-34 has a new weapon system and an air refueling system.

I think Sukhoi Su-27 and Su-30 and PAK-50 is 3 best of russian fighter jets.
Today it's under 900 in russian Air Force.
I belief 1100 fighter jets in future.
    No modernization with proffessional Army,
of 630,000 or 766,000 proffessionel soldiers and seeman,
2nd place with second alternative. In GlobalPower 2014.

Russian Su-27 Airbase to Be Set Up in Belarus in 2016: Air Force Chief
MOSCOW, December 23 (Sputnik) – Russia will increase the number of airplanes and helicopters at its base to be opened in Belarus, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Tuesday during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Andrei Ravkov.

“I’m ready to continue our discussion of cooperation on a practical basis today. This is in regard to the S-300 [anti-aircraft missile system], as well as the creation and basing of [our] aviation in Belarus by increasing the number of airplanes and helicopters. This should provide for the security of our common airspace,” Shoigu said.

The Russian airbase is to be opened near the city of Bobruisk in 2016. Neither defense minister specified the amount of hardware to be based there.

In October, a highly-ranked Air Force official said Su-27 (Flanker) fighter aircraft would be based at the new complex.

"A Russian Air Force Base in Belarus will be opened in 2016 and Su-27 fighters will be based there," Col.-Gen. Viktor Bondarev said.

In October Shoigu stated that the two countries will expand their military drills program in 2015 due to the changing situation on the borders and in the world as a whole. The Minister spoke of "new threats" to the Union State [a supranational entity of Russia and Belarus] as a reason for such expansion.

Following Crimea's reunification with Russia in March, NATO increased its military presence in Poland and the Baltic States. Russia has repeatedly expressed concern over the increased military presence of the alliance in bordering countries.

Well, and, finally, the weapon system. At first glance, then there is parity. One gun: from "us" 30 mm "they" 20-mm. Payload: 10,000 kg against 10,300 kg. Missiles "air-surface" and "air-to-air." Among the 14 types of weapons that are created specifically for the T-50 has a unique missiles that are capable of detecting and engaging targets during the free flight.

If you highlight the most important, what the Russian fighter has a significant advantage over the US, it is first of all installed power and excellent flying qualities. Also, the T-50 significantly greater fuel capacity - 11100 kg versus 8,200 kg. And with only two of the PTB in the "American" pumped 11,800 kg of kerosene, but significantly reduced its flight performance and increased visibility.

And, surprisingly, the real ceiling of the F-22 is only 7500 m, at least in its flight characteristics and appear 20000 m. The fact that it uses a weak system of regeneration of oxygen and high-altitude pilots aware of asphyxiation. In this connection, the circular prescribes that the US Air Force aircraft in peacetime does not rise above 7.5 kilometers.

Companies in United Engine Corporation is developing so-called "engine of the second stage" for the Sukhoi PAK FA (PAK FA), informs "Interfax" referring to the director general of the corporation Vladislav Masalova.

"Work on the creation of the engine of the second stage are conducted so as to ensure that in 2017 the first flight of the PAK FA with the engines of the second stage of the initial resource", - said V. Masalov. He noted that the engines of the second stage, which will replace the engines "Article 117", which is now equipped with a fifth-generation fighter will provide supersonic cruise flight.

"The main parameters of the engine of the second stage will be 15-18% more efficient than the characteristics of the engine used today", - said V. Masalov. Designing the power plant for the project PAK FA is carried out in two stages. On the first machine was "the product 117» ─ turbojet engine AL-41F1, related power plant AL-41F1S for the Su-35S ("the product 117C").

The engine of the second stage, also known as "article 30" (previously it is also called in the press "article 129", it later became clear that under these codes takes only a fraction of the power plant) at the momentrazrabatyvaetsya.
