Try asking justice hegde how many times he's had to 'shame' karnataka governemnt into supporting his efforts. He resigned and BSY was all out to accept it until public pressure & the governer's stand made him stand down. Congress at least is bothered about it's public image. You know what's the difference between congress & BJP? A Raja's crimes have not been 'proved' yet but he's in jail. BSY's crimes are already 'proved'. Forget the courts- HE HIMSELF HAS ACCEPTED THAT HE ILLEGALLY DENOTIFIED LAND FOR HIS FAMILY TO MAKE MONEY ON IT. Yet, the BJP hasn't done a darned thing about it. Forget going to jail, he won't even resign.

Try asking SC about this. Congress is a shameless party and that is the reason why SC has to evict Thomas. Try asking CONGRESS to file a case against yedurappa and let SC decide. You know the difference between congress and BJP?? Congress just do scams scams and finally got kicked by SC but no such thing against BJP. There are just ALLEGATIONS.

Regarding Raja...yor posts seems to give credit to congress for his jail visit ....ITS SUPREME COURT OF INDIA and not some joke party who sent raja to jail.

Finally you must know the difference between ALLEGATION AND PROVED :smokin:

Great work by SC. One day all corrupts will be kicked.

The crimes of BJP are not mere allegations. He has accepted the he denotified his land in favor his son. So what's left to 'prove' ?

And who gave you the idea that the secular party is 'silent' on anything? Were you sleeping when they were blaring theough their throats during the parliament standoff that the BJP had double standards? Didn't you see that an almost desperate BJP, when even the left refused to support their boycott summoned BSY and tried to sack him? Were you on crack when, DESPITE THEIR BRNGING THE WHOLE GODDAMN PARILIAMENT TO A STANDSTILL, DURING THAT SAME TIME COULD NOT SACK BSY???

Yes Secular party is silent as they have nothing to say. Your EMOTIONAL post about secularists screaming in the parliament proves nothing.

It has been proved that PM and HM turned a blind eye towards corruption and finally brought shame to the government.

The reason why Reddy has not been sacked is that SC doent consider news of SECULAR MEDIA AS AN EVIDENCE TO BE ADMITTED IN COURT. :smokin:

Till then secularists can scream a lot while BJP will do the work. Raja Gone, Thomas kicked...whos next :woot: :woot:

^^^ The evidence has been presented to court troll. And the trial is on. In this case, it was so blantant that BSY dare not deny it you all trolling one. And the Bharatiya Pansy Party had such little spine that on national television they retracted when all could see that BSY had basically decided to follow their dictates. So much for a party that's gonna take care of our country.

Sorry pathetic troller but evidence against BSY could not be proved and hence he is free while against Raja is accepted on the face of record and hence one more corrupt secularist in the jail

Your pathetic posts will not change the fact that secularists did biggest scandals in the country and they got kicked by SC. :smokin:

If Supreme Court thinks that some illegal work has been done, then someone should be held responsible for this illegal work. Supreme court should also declare who has done this illegal work and as such what punishment is given to him.
Oh poor PJ Thomas, he has been made look like a villan. He didn't say made me the CVC. He was not the member of that commitee that selected him as CVC.

PJ Thomas nearly quit in Dec, but chose to hang on

NEW DELHI: PJ Thomas could have escaped the ignominy of being sacked by the Supreme Court and spared the government a huge political embarrassment if he had heeded advice to quit.

Months after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and home minister P Chidambaram rode roughshod over Leader of Opposition Sushma Swaraj's resistance to put Thomas in the lead role at the anti-corruption watchdog, Congress leadership recognised that the CVC had turned into a political liability.

Unfortunately for the government, the mild-mannered CVC suddenly became unyielding after initial indications that he would put in his papers. Negotiations with Thomas had progressed to the extent that his well-wishers had even sought advice on how to draft his resignation letter. He was to announce his resignation in the first week of December when the heat on UPA over corruption was growing.

But all that was rendered irrelevant by Thomas's sudden refusal to go. He conveyed his resolve to the negotiators on December 4. Soon followed a defiant declaration that he was not going to follow the script written for him.

Two theories have been put forward for the turnaround. According to one, Thomas changed his mind after a senior minister egged him on to stay put. The minister was concerned about loss of face.

According to another theory, the about-turn was at the instance of Thomas's family members and close friends who warned him that quitting would taint him forever. A close relative is learnt to have told him that it could not be just his call as the matter concerned the reputation of the entire family.

The episode is seen as yet another instance of the failure of the top babus in the regime. The set was supposed to have a leverage with Thomas — one of the reasons why Congress managers thought that they would be able to shake off what had become an albatross. But the estimate was belied, adding to the growing sense of resentment against the babus.
