hows that crystal ball you use to predict the future working out., would not worry about US women while India is considered the 4th worse country in the world for women. Whats the exchange rate of Rupee or Rubles now compared to 3 years ago?

    1.00 EUR worth 1.08 dollars
    =1.08770 USD
    today.
Predicted dollar to be higher then Euro by the end of the year.

Definition: U.S. dollar strength means that the dollar's value is high relative to other currencies over time. That means one of two things. It can mean it's near the top of its historical range. The dollar's all-time high was 163.83 on March 5, 1985 (as measured by the DX.F). The Fed funds rate was raised to 9.00% to combat stagflation. For more, see Historical Fed Funds Rate.

The dollar's record low was 71.58 on April 22, 2008.

That was shortly after the Bear Stearns bank failure. At that time, investors fled to the euro because they thought the financial crisis was limited to the United States.

It can also mean the dollar rate increased in a short period of time. The dollar strengthened 25% in between July 2014 and March 2015.

Why Is the Dollar So Strong Right Now?
The dollar is so strong for three reasons. First, the Federal Reserve ended expansive monetary policy as the economy improved. It stopped adding to the money supply. This stabilization of supply increases the dollar's value.

The Fed also warned it would raise interest rates in 2015.

This strengthens the dollar's value because it means higher interest rates will be paid on U.S. Treasury notes. This increases demand for dollars. Savers will earn a higher rate of return on dollar deposits than euro deposits that pay lower interest rates.

Second, the European Cental Bank (ECB) lowered the euro's value by doing the opposite. Political instability in the European Union also weakened the euro.

The dollar automatically strengthens when the euro weakens. That's because the euro makes up 57.6% of the value of the USDX. Therefore, whatever makes the euro weaker will make the dollar stronger, and vice-versa. Each of the other currencies in the USDX has less influence on the dollar's value.

Third, the dollar's strength was intensified by forex traders. They used leverage to further weaken the euro and strengthen the dollar.

    • Rupee falters to 1-wk low of 66.69 vs dollar
Mumbai, Dec 4 (PTI) The rupee continued to decline against the American currency for the third consecutive day by slipping another 4 paise to close at 1-week low of 66.69 per dollar after touching more than two-year low of 67.01 during the intra-day deals.

Sustained capital outflows, fall in equities amid subdued domestic macro-data along with sudden spurt in crude also affected the rupee value against the dollar, a forex dealer said.

The rupee resumed lower at 66.95 per dollar as against the yesterday's closing level of 66.65 at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market and dropped further to more than two-year low of 67.01 on initial dollar demand from banks and importers on the back of higher greenback overseas.

However, it recovered from initial losses to 66.68 on mild selling of dollars by exporters, before ending at 66.69, showing a loss of 4 paise or 0.06 per cent.

The local currency has lost 20 paise or 0.30 per cent in three days.

The rupee had last touched 68.62 on September 4, 2013 during the intra-day trade and ended at 67.07 per dollar on the same day.

The domestic currency moved in a range of 66.68 and 67.01 per dollar during the day today.

The dollar index rose by 0.42 per cent against a basket of six currencies in the late afternoon trade.

Pramit Brahmbhatt, Veracity Group CEO, said, "Today the USD opened on a positive note on back of positive US Economic Data (Unemployment Claims), but could not sustain at higher levels. The rupee depreciated by 4 paisa and close at 66.69 levels for the day.

Trading range for the spot USD/INR pair is expected to be within 66.25 to 67 levels. .

    • "Govt "inflating" growth rate by 'dubious' data"
    14:36 HRS IST
New Delhi, Dec 6 (PTI) Accusing the government of "inflating" growth rate by using "dubious" data, the CPI(M) today said such moves to project that the Indian economy was doing well may help in grabbing global headlines but would not help the economic fundamentals.

"We have once again heard the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister speak about how well the economy is doing and its shining prospects. But nothing will move till public investment is increased in the economy. Changing data-series may help manage global headlines for a while, but won't help fundamentals," CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said.

"On the basis of highly dubious data-series, our GDP growth rate has been inflated. Many commentators and economists continue to point out the deeply flawed statistical basis of such data projections," he said in a Facebook post.

Yechury argued that the government's 7.4 per cent growth rate came down to 5.2 per cent when calculated on the basis of the older basis points.

He said the decline in the fundamental economic indicator - Gross Domestic Capital Formation - meant waning investments in economy.

Plunging industrial production index and manufacturing growth rate between October and November also indicate declining employment generation, the CPI(M) leader said,

He also charged the government with extending tax concessions to corporate sector while common people and farmers suffered due to price rise and agrarian crisis.

Expressing concern over "deepening" agrarian distress resulting in farmers' suicide, Yechury accused BJP of "betraying peasants by not keeping its electoral promise of offering minimum support prices at least 150 per cent of the costs of production.

    Lol. CPI is Communist.

The older years did not have many new industries in it. It was a poor indicator of India's economy.

Revolution in Russia 'inevitable' says Kremlin critic Khodorkovsky

Moscow (AFP) - Top Kremlin critic and former Yukos oil chief Mikhail Khodorkovsky on Wednesday said a "revolution" was inevitable in Russia and could happen as soon as 2018.

Speaking via videolink from London, Khodorkovsky delivered a damning summary of President Vladimir Putin's rule and announced the intention to prosecute his regime.

"Revolution in Russia is inevitable. The remnants of its reserves and the threat of repressions are only putting off its eventual arrival," he said.

"The question is how can we make this revolution at least relatively peaceful."

Russia has "enough reserves to last until 2017," he said, predicting that when they run out this could trigger economic and political collapse.

"If (Western) sanctions are not lifted by then, there could be problems already in 2018."

The former oil tycoon spent a decade in prison in Russia on tax evasion, fraud and embezzlement charges before being suddenly pardoned by Putin on humanitarian grounds in 2013. He flew out of the country to be with his sick mother and currently resides in London.

Investigators this week summoned Khodorkovsky for questioning as part of a fresh probe into a 1998 murder case and announced that he will be charged on Friday.

Khodorkovsky said the new probe into the murder of a Siberian mayor, for which his former Yukos security chief is already serving a life term, was ordered personally by Putin.

"I know very well that such (an) order was given," he said.

He claimed the recent summons is aimed at distracting the public from Putin's circle's own criminal ties, which opposition activists, independent media and Khodorkovsky's Open Russia group have alleged in recent reports.

"Putin and his circle must answer before society for what they have done in an independent court. I see this as my task," he said.

Putin and his circle have orchestrated a "full-scale overthrow of constitutional rule" in order to keep power, Khodorkovsky said.

Mismanagement and pervasive corruption are depleting the country's economic reserves, he said.

He said he could see early signs of social protests in the country spurred by "the pathological greed of Putin's circle."

Though Khodorkovsky in 2013 told Putin he would not engage in politics, he said Wednesday that he felt he was not bound by this after his mother's death last year.

"I am not interested in politics," he said. But "as a Russian citizen I cannot idly watch what is happening."

Khodorkovsky said Russians should "sabotage" what he called "illegitimate" laws and dismissed Putin's sky-high approval ratings.

"Residents of many countries suffered this type of love, just like hostages taken by terrorists," he said.

Trucks wait in a line to cross a highway about 18 miles south of Moscow on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015. Truck drivers are protesting a new road tax for long-distance haulers.

GORODNYA, Russia — At a remote truck stop on the Leningrad Highway, about 100 miles from Moscow, a group of burly independent truckers gathered yesterday around a flat-screen TV to watch President Vladimir Putin's annual state-of-the nation address. They had vowed to cancel their plans to stage a protest rally in the capital if the president would just make a mention of their grievances and promise to look into them. He didn't.

"It's a big disappointment," says Oleg Krutsky, a St. Petersburg trucker and activist with a national truckers' movement that's erupted across the country over the past three weeks. The truckers are protesting a new freight tax that many claim will put them out of business – and line the pockets of pro-Kremlin oligarchs. ...

And this is not trolling. We are discussing money charged by prostitutes all over the world.....I don't know why Americans are so obsessed with sex related stuff....Hindi me bole toh KGB us madharchod k sir me goli dal dega jo seperatism ki buckchodi karega..As per me it is an act of treason to ask for seperation unless your human rights are violated. And there is no human rights violation reported in siberia..Amerika has no balls to take Siberia from Russia.Putin can order a genoside but won't let that happen...This is why Hitler killed jews because they were supporting the enemy nations of Germany by buying their product and Hitler had requested to his fellow countrymen not to buy any foreign goods But Jews defied his orders and then he had started killing them..

Hm...no. Daesh would not have arrived, had Assad agreed to the alternate oil route from the Sunni lead countries. Instead, it opted for the Iran route. This brings the southern pipeline under Russian influence. The last thing the Europeans want is to let Russia control another Europe-destination pipe line.

Kind of doubt it, lot of people simply got fed up with the Assad regime and now we have a civil war that a involves radical Islamist.

Link found between low intelligence and falling for pseudo-profound statements
    And conspiracy theories.

researchers' words, not ours – are more likely to score on the low side for verbal and fluid intelligence, and are also more likely to believe in conspiracies and endorse alternative medicine.

or Daesh would not have arrived, had Assad agreed to the alternate oil route from the Sunni lead countries, or Israel or CIA was behind 911

In other words "Those more receptive to bullsh*t are less reflective, lower in cognitive ability (i.e., verbal and fluid intelligence, numeracy), are more prone to ontological confusions and conspiratorial ideation, are more likely to hold religious and paranormal beliefs, and are more likely to endorse complementary and alternative medicine."

Lot of people get fed up with lot of things. That does not result in SA, EU and US entering the region to spread democracy.

US researchers also found WMDs in Iraq and Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan. Not that it shows high intelligence levels does it?

Do you want me to post links of discussions Syria was having with Qatar for pipelines? And coming to your point of radical Islamists. Taliban, Mujhideen, Al Nusra where exactly does the funding come from? From your beloved KSA and UAE and Qatar. Still waiting for the time, the US of A decides to bring democracy here. Well but going by the low levels of intelligence in average americans, thats not going to happen.

If its ok for the Crimea to join Russian then its ok for Siberia to join the USA. Any time Russia wants a nuclear war all they have to do is start one, we cant do anything about that.
