Neither of them are. That's a strange question indeed. Why do you ask?

I didn't know what I was thinking when I typed that post many months ago.

anyway, mig-29 would be out of service by 2025.

    lol

    hey seriously............ why ?

the new Super su "can" be single seater ?

just think how much empty weight can be reduced ?

any thing can be added fuel, 30 mm ..........

and by doing so IAF will have double the number of trained pilots..........for those air crafts that "will" (when no idea) be build by the HAL etc s....

you are right but every air force has its own way of war... and IAF is happy with 2 pilots up there... reason are increasing the level of performance to upper most level.. you don't have to save your a$$ and shoot others at same time.

A twin-seat config allows for interleaved operations.

I.E. simultaneous engagement of ground/air targets can be performed
    more efficiently, for example.

In a single-seat aircraft, the pilot needs to do his jobs in a sequential manner (one-after-the-other),
in twin-seat planes, the 2 x pilots can get manual operations done simultaneously, thereby increasing
    battlefield efficiency of the plane.

However 5th generation ac nowadays have advanced man-machine interface and automated tasking
which greatly reduces pilot workload, thereby allowing even a single pilot to spend less time "head down"
    in the cockpit.

On topic, Super Sukhoi is nothing but an enhancement of the aircraft's subsystems/components,
it does not include any type of airframe alteration. The engines, radar, electronics,
and such stuff will be replaced with newer, more powerful ones while the surface will be treated with
    radar-absorbent materials.

The basic airframe shape will remain as Flanker as ever, save for a few smoothening out of
rough edges. It will continue to be a twin-seat plane.
