I wonder what's underneath the skin. The LSV ?

Also Tata must start using those torquey in-house developed 3.3 l engines instead of 2.2l DICOR.

    I believe it could be the LAMV's front-end fitted with a modified/light-weight rear-end.

I believe the DICOR is now called VariCOR?

Tata's Pace in their Projects is Inspiring...I hope they establish Design and Manufacturing Ability of anything that is on wheels or Tracks...Be it a Troop Carrier or A specialised TEL or an MBT....

And with the Pace Tata seems to be marching with... They might as well offer every solution before 2030...

And Also Other Companies like L&T and Mahindra will keep up the Competition.

In the coming years I hope that The Army Completes it's Indigenisation drive.... And for the sake of their soldiers... Complete the F-INSAS project....To better equipp Them...

Does anyone know the status of F-INSAS !?

There is no such thing as the F-INSAS project anymore, it was offically broken up into two projects a while back by the IA; one focusing on BMS (which has largely been implemented) and the other on personal equipment/infantry modernisation (which is non-existent as we can see today).

I bet in a few years we will see F-INSAS (focusing on personal equipment only) restarted and MAYBE by 2030 Indian troops will be as well equipped as NATO troops were in the early 2000s.
