I went for scenario 5 (smaller independent Kashmir)...it is better for Pakistan, while being a viable solution at the same time.

Easy Choice - No Brainer: Scenario 3 : Pakistan occupied Kashmir and Gilgit-Balchistan will join India.

I Know It is only possible by Full Scale War. But we need to get back our land at any cost in future.

I would even say "Akhand Bharat" By 2050.

J&K: Girls to receive arms training to counter militants | TwoCircles.net

Jammu: The Indian Army officials in Rajouri district imparted arms training to girls with an aim to combat militancy in Jammu & Kashmir.

Girls in Rajouri district were trained to use the weapons by the army personnel of the paramilitary 63 Rashtriya Rifles. The aim of the training is to curb the rising militancy in the state.

Young girls, who generally live in a protected environment, came forward to learn the usage of weapons, which they could use in self-defence.

At the 'Know Your Army' stall, visitors got an opportunity to see various weapons, which the army had taken into its custody after it had conducted raids at the militant camps in the valley.

Priyanka Sharma, a local told Agence India Press that the Indian army has organised a fair here. They have a stall here by the name of 'Know your Army'. The officials told us about various arms and ammunitions. Many schoolchildren received arms training for their own security. We learnt how to use these rifles and if need be, we would be able to use them.

The main purpose of the fair was to create awareness about the functioning of the defence forces among the general population and the various career opportunities that were provided by the armed forces.

"There was a small camp set up in this area by the army. Numerous weapons were displayed in the fair. We had never seen these weapons earlier, so we got to learn a lot from these army officials," said Parveen Akhtar, a local.

The visitors got a chance to see tanks and infantry combat vehicles and they were also allowed to take a ride on few of these vehicles.

The villagers also got an opportunity to learn the usage of the highly advanced AK-47 rifles.

Army officials organised this fair, with an aim to promote the spirit of women empowerment among the locals.

"This is a backward area, so girls generally stay inside their houses and don't move out often. This is an initiative to bring these girls to the forefront.

Many girls participated in this event. The army officials imparted knowledge about various ammunitions as well, so that girls gain confidence, so that they can become independent and work in the future," said Colonel D.D. Swen, member, 63 Rashtriya rifles.

Moderate Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Umer Farooq Friday said if parliament attack convict Afzal Guru is hanged, the peace process between India and Pakistan would be derailed and it would also affect Kashmir.

“If Afzal Guru is hanged, not only would the peace process between India and Pakistan be derailed, but the situation in Kashmir would take a serious turn.

“The responsibility for the consequences would lie entirely with the government of India in case they chose such a step,”
Mirwaiz Umer told a well-attended Friday congregation at the historic Jamia Mosque in Nowhatta area of summer capital Srinagar.

The Mirwaiz also lambasted the right wing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing it of mounting pressure on the central government for Afzal’s hanging.

The union home ministry has sent the mercy petition of Afzal Guru waiting on death row in Tihar Jail to the President with the recommendations that it be rejected.

Afzal Guru was found guilty of plotting the Dec 13, 2001 parliament attack in which nine people were killed. He was sentenced to death in 2002. The Delhi High Court confirmed the death penalty in 2003. The sentence was scheduled to be carried out Oct 20, 2006 after the Supreme Court upheld it in 2004.

But the execution was stayed following a mercy petition filed by his wife. He remains on death row.

diplomacy and politics are best practised in realistic scenario. the concept of "akhand bharat" can at best be used to annoy pakistani members, any one who attaches any more importance to it is living in a fool's world.

i wd like to think this as a annoying tactic by some members and nothing more.

and since when are military operations supposed to be non-violent!
Surprisingly they didn't even mention how he was killed or any word terrorist or mujahideen in the news report. And using the phrase SOG, trying to draw anamolies, are we?? I'm not sure if Indian army even has an SOG, it's more like special forces or special ops forces...
Biased reporting from a biased news source.

Well If I was RAW(Yes the one thats famous for doing everything happening in Pakistan, even November rain)......I would strongly recommend Indian leadership to hold on to Kashmir as long as possible.....because thats enough to make sure that Pakistan is drained out of its resources ... knowing Pakistanis mindset...they will burn themselves out of their lust for Kashmir.
